• cakana Posted : 8/29/2006 12:12:25 PM Hang in there and know that it won't last forever.  When I quit, I tried to get out and walk the dog more than before.  It was a distraction and helped burn off some energy.  Other times, I was a total zombie and could barely form a complete thought or move a muscle.  I was the queen of carrots and everyone teased me about it.  I kept a baggie of cut up carrot pieces with me at all times and chomped away when the cravings got bad.  It really helped.  Having folks around me who understood helped too. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. • glenmar Posted : 8/29/2006 1:35:38 PM Well, the dogs have got to eat, ya know.....and then getting stuff ready for the picnic I promised my Mom, and icing my groin......   I was zipping back and forth between the upstairs and downstairs kitchens and went through the room where we keep the crates....Sheba's BLACK metal crate door was opened since she'd been going in and out while she helped me.  Yep, you got it, rammed that door RIGHT into the groin.
