What's the WORST movie you've ever seen?

Beloved, the movie that Oprah Winfrey did.  I've sat through movies that were really I didn't like, but I've never truly hated a movie other than Beloved.

i have to say the first movie that came to my mind when i saw this thread is Home Alone.  my DH was upset because i did not laugh once during it.  Second worse would have to be Scarface.

i really like horror movies. i used to watch a show on ifc (cant remember the name of it) that would preview upcoming independent movies. about a year before blair witch project came out they showed a clip of it on their halloween show. this was before it was purchased by lions gate. i was really excited for it to come out.

then it was released. i think it was better as a 10 min preview than as a 2 hr+ bore fest that it had become. what a crappy movie!

I've got to say that I loved Napoleon Dynamite. It was kooky! But I hated Nacho Libre--that was awful.

I liked the Village, but hated Signs. I haven't gotten around to watching Lady in the Water yet. His movies have pretty dumb endings.

And I loved Cast Away. The other Tom Hanks movie where nothing happened which was also fantastic was the Terminal.

By far, the absolute WORST movie I have ever seen, would be Napoleon Dynamite.
    Horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible!!!!
It bugs the heck out of me that all through the movie, the kid couldn't figure out how to close his mouth. It was always hanging open.

YEEESSSSS!  And quite frankly, my vision of hell is sitting through Titanic over and over again.

It seems that when I talk to people about that movie, they either loved it or hated it. I absolutely despise it.

Ditto. I can't believe I spent my time watching it. Luckilly I saw it at a youth thing and didn't have to spend money to see it.  I know some people like it, I just can't understand why. But if someone ran for president named Pedro I bet he'd win, lol.

The only movie I have ever walked out of was Horse Whisperer. Just because the scenery was pretty did not mean watching that horse trot though it over and over and over and over and over was entertaining.

You've reminded me of that movie "An Unfinished Life" with Robert Redford and Jennifer Lopez. Horrible.

That also reminds me of "Angel Eyes" with Jennifer Lopez. Awful. I DO NOT like her in dramatic roles at all.

I loved The Horse Whisperer, Signs, Brokeback Mountain, and most of those Tom Cruise movies that Cyclefriend (aka Bradley) mentioned above.

"Say hello to my little friend!"

When I was a kid in California, "Billy Jack" was huge. As an adult, I can see that it had the worst acting ever, most especially from Tom McLaughlin in the title role. He was trying to play an  former green beret. Worse than that was the sequel.

Haha Ron...one of the RUDEST shirts I own has that saying complete with a pic of Herve Villachaize (Tatoo from Fantasy Island) decked out like Scarface...lmao!

I would have to say the worst movie I ever saw was Diary of a Mad Black Woman...I thought it was supposed to be a comedy...not a complete waste of my time.

Iloveannie - it was really horrible.  I was horrified that it was billed as anything above mediocre.  Terrible flick.

However, I agree, I like Eternal Sunshine :o)  American Beauty, too.  I like indy's [:D] ... well, *usually*!

My vote for the most miserable mainstream feature with big dollars, big names and big billing is "Island of Dr. Moreau" [:'(]  It was so very, very ... VERY bad.  I loved Val at the time, too.  Completely destroyed him for me.  Yeck!

the remake of the amityville horror was pretty horific. the ending didnt really even make sense to me. i remember being really scared when i saw the original one with james brolin, but the remake just made me mad that i wasted 2 hrs.
