Oh, and for what it's worth? A long ago boyfriend had a snazzy Trorino (sp) and a 1948 Indian. I much preferred the bike, but we did NOT have a sexual relationship. And I smoke too. Not sure on the ugly....that would be a personal preference I guess.

actually my wife has 3 tattoos. but they are most often hidden from view.

when i was a younger man (read: in college), seeing one of those lower back butterflies was like seeing a bullseye! [sm=rofl.gif][sm=evilfire.gif]

The bike was a classic. This was the early 70's....I'm not THAT old.....and trust me, we KNEW exactly what sex was.

For those who might be interested, the deal is done, against my better judgement. We are going to take advangage of the 0% financing offered by the dealer for 6 months. After that, I will pay off the loan and Paul will pay me at rate of 2% below what the dealer offers. I think after 6 months the rate goes to 12.9% so, if my memory is right, I will make 10.9%. I don't have much money but what little I do have ain't worth a damn sitting in a savings account. This is a good deal for me and for Paul.

I just had to add that at 41 years old my husband still rides a sportbike. It's a 1986 Kawasaki Ninja 1000R, monster of a bike, yeah, it's old but still pretty powerful. I think he's getting arthritis in his hip but he won't admit it. We've been thinking about getting him a new Ninja so we went shopping and he sat on one of the new Suzuki Marauders and he really liked it. Kawasaki's version is the Meanstreak - they didn't have any in stock but he wants to stay with Kawasaki so he's leaning towards that. He will never let that Ninja go, though, LOL. I think it keeps him young... Did you convince him to wear a helmet?

I thought that the whole point of my saying that was that I didn't. We never even kissed. I love bikes and would have one now if I could possibly find a safe way to strap my 17 month old on the back. Alas, it isn't possible. Although I have considered goggles and a sidecar...[sm=wink.gif]
