Tomorrow morning I go into the credit union to get qualified for a local loan. I'm already qualifed over the internet, but this is MY credit union and I'm hoping it will work out.

So once again, if you could send good outcome vibes my way I'd appreciate it. THANKS!

Jeano, any word yet on your loan?

I was just wondering the same thing.  Any good news for us??

The good news is that I can probably get a loan. I'd say it's a 99% chance that I can qualify for whatever I need.

The bad news is that my landlord has had a really bad week/month and for some reason is taking it out on ME.

I've really been a model tenant. It's true he's going through a ton of bad stuff, but that's not my fault. I won't go into his problems because that wouldn't be right. But he's yelled at me THREE times today for no reason...[:(]

See my blog about what I was dealing with today. Anyway, he came down here and started yelling at me again and saying "I'm not going to let you or anybody else PLAY me!"etc etc blah blah making no sense at all.

Then he yells "The house is not for sale. So you can just forget about it!" And continues, in a sarcastic tone of voice, "You can still continue to live here and I will still give you the respect I always have..."

Um, no thanks. No way will I ever be comfortable here again.

I always tell the truth and for heaven sakes, I certainly don't PLAY people! That was totally off-base! Scott was here when he did that, thank God. I would have been pretty scared if I'd been alone.

So this is what is happening. I'm going to get a loan, and find a house, buy it and MOVE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

And what you have to understand is that it will be winter SOON. Snow will fall sometime in September or October. Everything will freeze up. It will be really a pain moving. I need to do all this before that happens if I possibly can.

    ::stress stress stress stress::

I'm really upset. I am all wound up and can't sleep! Eventually I guess I'll sleep...but it's 1:30am and I'm still all wound up... I HATE being treated like that!

Well then. good luck and God's speed.

I say take it as a sign this house is NOT the right one for you.  Better that he whacked out and backed out now then if you had gone further down this path...

Leave him and his yellow jacket infested house behind!  You know now you can secure the funds.  We'll all concentrate on a nice little, non yellow jacket occupied house with a fenced in yard for you!!!

My thoughts exactly.  Sending "good weather vibes" so you can have as much time as possible to find a house and move in before snow falls!

P.S. - Maybe Gumbo Martinez and Snappy Chicago need to pay your landlord a visit after you leave! [;)]

And maybe the Dudley Do-right of the story, Rocky Sterling, will come and save me? Ooops! I'm giving things away here! [;)]

Thanks for the good thoughts you guys. I've been SO exhausted from the LL's stupid drama. If Scott hadn't been here I think it would have been a whole lot worse. Scott didn't realize that until this morning, and I could see his manly gears grinding into motion.....and he said, after breakfast (which we ate at noon)...Do you think it would have been worse if I hadn't been there? and I said YES. And he replied, "Well I am not going to put up with THAT."

Scott is 6'5" and has hands the size of Easter hams. It's actually a measure of how out of it the LL was that he so nasty to me in front of Scott. The LL was so wacky that he barely noticed Scott! Hard thing to do!

Anyway....this is the plan: find a house, get a loan, buy house and MOOOOVE!

Jean- Lots of luck! I'm sorry you have to go thru such an ordeal but at least the LL losing his mind was definitely a sign to you that it  wasn't meant to be. We've got fingers and paws crossed and good vibes being sent from way across the country!
