I don't even HAVE a cell phone![8|]

My older son put the message on my voice mail cell phone becauase he was the geek that knew how to do it at the time.  I love to listen to it.  Now it's a deep man, manly voice........"Hi, this is (gilrs name). Please leave a message and I'll get back to you...Thanks.  Really throws people off. 

I'm a geek because I'd prefer to listen to NPR than music most of the time.  Fresh Air, Wait, Wait Don't Tell me, Prairie Home Companion, Car Talk are my favorites.
 
My ringtone is barking dogs.

OMG. I adore watching the old Bob Ross stuff on PBS. He has the most soothing voice. I cannot believe that there is anyone (besides DH and I ) who loves to watch that. After a few minutes I am so into watching him paint that I don't even notice the crazy hair anymore. This is so very sad.... I feel like I just admitted my deepest darkest secret.

Gotta love Bob's hair! When I was a kid, I watched him paint happy little trees all the time! I almost miss that show now. I haven't seen it in years.

Ok I'm really into 24 and all of Kiefer Sutherland movies. I'm starting to get into ER again and I love House.
 
I spend hours of my time on dog forums and chinchilla forum (haven't joined it yet, but I'm always on the darn thing). Always saving up money then blowing it on my animals for new cage or new toys which Blue doesn't need. I never see my friends due to this reason because I'm always on here.
 
I'm the only one in this house that can hook almost anything up while my mom still hasn't mastered her answer machine.
 
I listen to opera when I need to calm down or study for something.
 
 

We have the Original Atari system and the Gemeni system.My 13 year old daughter asked for ABBA gold for christmas last year! She got it too!

Bob Ross is still on PBS sometimes.  I just happened to see him a couple times last year while flipping through channels. Here is a super geeky thought..... perhaps I can set TiVo to record his show.

My husband has what he calls his "nerd shrine" in the den.  It has all the different copies of The Lord of The Rings books and DVD's, various comics and way too many action figures.  You're just a wanna-be geek until you have statues of Gollum, Minas Tirith, and bookend Argonath's.  He even has a small bust of Hellboy.  Ugh.  I can't believe I told someone that. 

I wish I still had mine! Im not even that old and I still wish I had that.  I use too have so much fun playing that game! Space enviders!!!  We had tons of games!!! Always wonder why we got rid of it?? The new ones are cool,  but still come on!! Nothing beats the Atari!!!

My cell phone used to ring "inspector gadget". Now, it rings just a ring. I dropped my old phone, one too many times....

So was mine!  And if you were around me and hadnt heard it before I made you call me so you could hear it and I would dance to it. [&:]

I guess Im a geek because I read the nutritional label before I buy ANYTHING at the grocery, and dont buy it if it doesnt have one... even the deli counter meat and cheese they slice for you. 

I cannot decide on stupid things such as a choice of color in something.  For example, buying a tool box, they had green or blue... I stood there for literally about 10 minutes... so long that I started thinking how rediculous I was for that.

I eat Fun-Dip almost every day.

I love to buy arts and crafts type things but never do any of it.

DH always calls me a nerd because I say "coins" when talking about money, like instead of "change"...?  They are coins!...?  Hes always made fun of me for it.


*Gina, you and DH would be able to talk it up for hours![8|] LOL[sm=no%20no%20smiley.gif] haha, although his crack is World of Warcaft... THAT, my friends, makes my DH the biggest nerd on earth![]
 
ETA:  I sat here thinking forever and couldnt think of anything... then I thought of one and they kept coming lol.
