Erm...be easier to list the normal things lmao...

I find both Link and Dante sexy....geeky why? well...they aren't real people but video game characters!

Oh and there's that HUGE crush I had on Sven from Voltron up to age 18...

I have participated in serious convo's regarding super powers and their ranking on the scale of usefulness.

I enjoy lame 80's synth pop....Art of Noise, DM, Cure, OMD, etc

I play video games and have actually played Donkey Conga complete with bongos.

I still take great pleasure in assembling and wearing a costume every Halloween.

I still draw happy faces on my fingertips when I'm bored.

I find Boba Fett incredibly sexy...no no, leave the helmet ON..

I know who Toad and Bowser are...

I stay up late at night posting to internet boards!

    Oh I think that's plenty....lmao!

My cell phone is the XF theme too, my3sons!! I'm still hoping for another movie.

OK - then I'm willing to confess I was just on Gillian Anderson's web site yesterday looking for any sign the movie will happen (and she says she's just as in the dark and anxious as we are).  And I have Mulder and Scully dolls/action figures, whatever.

But I'm also Opera mad and so my ring tone is the aria Nessun Dorma from Puccini's Turandot.

Whoa now[:D] That makes me geeky? Well, then, I'm geekier than I thought!!!

I'm looking for a Sega Genesis or a NES to purchase. So I can play with it.

I take great pleasure in reading crazy complicated articles on nutrition, herbs, and various diseases. I also take much pleasure in reading books on raw foods (for humans and animals).

My cell phone used to ring "inspector gadget". Now, it rings just a ring. I dropped my old phone, one too many times....

I just finished making a cow shaped cake for my equally geeky friend's birthday, complete with a cow card, that says, "Wishing you an udderly happy birthday. And many mooooooo-re!"

    Etc etc.

I'm still very hopeful it'll happen.  And yes, if you have the action figures, you ARE a geek.  LOL  I just got my haircut and my DH calls it my Scully haircut.  Seems it floats HIS boat.  I get home from work usually around 2am-ish and I love watching old episodes on TNT. Christi

I have BOTH sets of action figures, and the barbie dolls... And I have just about every episode taped and categorized by season.

I am the ultimate X Files Geek. (I didn't have much of a life back in the late 90's).

My cell phone ring tone is the theme for Hockey Night in Canada.

I'm the biggest geek because I don't even have a cell phone! I hate them. It annoys me when people are driving and using them, talking on them in restaurants, when ordering in a fast food place, when they ring in the movie theater, etc

I don't have a cell either, for the same reasons, and...I'm on the phone a lot a work, I don't want to be on it every other minute, too.
I'm obsessed with Law and Order (mainly Criminal Intent because I LOVE LOVE LOVE Vincent D'onofrio).

Me, too.  Vincent is awesome.  Chris Noth has nothing on him!

I'm also totally obsessed with NYPD Blue.  I'll watch the episodes over and over.  Give me a marathon, I'd be likely to cancel all other plans.

Well, I guess I'm the biggest geek - I can't even figure out how to set a ring tone.  My phone (when it's on, which is rarely) just does a plain old ring.[X(]

    Joyce

I gotta go along with you on this one, Joyce.  I am not absolutely certain I even know what a ring tone is.  I assume it is the noise your phone makes when it rings.

A month or so ago, my step daughter told me that my voice mail wasn't working.  Now voice mail, you understand, is critically important to my mental well being, so off to the cell phone place I go.  They tell me I haven't had voice mail for a year and a half.  I had no clue.  Supposedly they fixed it, but it still doesn't work.  Think I can find a way to get along without it?  [:)]

I'm a geek because I absolutely LOVE the original Perfect Dark... I could play it for hours even though I've beaten it a few times.

I know what Taenia solium is, what it does to you, and how it can cause cysticercosis in you. I even gave a speech on it.

I know a ton of scietific names for fish... guppies are Poecillia reticulata and  Jaguar Cichlids are Parachromis managuense (my spelling may be off).

I have cell phone and I know how to use it... I choose not to (and it's NOT a disaster if I forget it some place... I know I'll live).

I'm sure this one will encompus a few others... I'm not afraid to squish open my dogs poo if it looks funny [:'(]

I guess I'm the opposite of geek (assuming a geek is someone who likes high tech gadgets).  I'm so un-gadgety [:)] that I don't have a cell phone, don't have an Ipod, no palm pilot.  I like the little calendar book I keep in my purse, where I can look at the whole month on one page and write all my appointments and things.  Good old pencil and paper is how I handle it!  One of my bosses just got a new cell phone, and the ring tone sounds exactly like a loud, "old fashioned" (i.e., pre-cordless) tabletop phone.  The first time I heard it, I about leapt out of my chair!

But I'm also Opera mad and so my ring tone is the aria Nessun Dorma from Puccini's Turandot.

I like to put my Three Tenors CD on when I'm cooking.  Nessun Dorma is my favorite aria.  I saw Pavarotti in concert a few years ago, and I was so disappointed he didn't sing that.

I hate to admit this, but one of my favorite CDs to play when I'm doing housework is ABBA Gold!  My husband can't stand it, but it makes me feel energized as I'm cleaning!  Surely that's dorky! [sm=biggrin.gif]

OMG - that is EXACTLY what I listen to while cleaning the house!

Okay, I'm not really into gadgets that much bit when I was in high school I used to love to come home to watch The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross! He's awesome! Happy Little Trees! I also love to watch quilting shows, anything on PBS really. I also love Love LOVE the Antique's Roadshow and watching old episodes of the Family Feud! I also love watching the Game Show Network.

I also read all of the Harry Potter books and fell head over heels in love! I wanted magical powers so bad!

I clean my house listening to Patsy Cline...

Wow, I guess I'm more of a dork than I thought. LoL

Okay Kate, so it's safe to tell you I went to see "Mamma Mia" on stage?! [;)]
My other geeky indulgence for listening pleasure is various programs on NPR.  My favorites are "Car Talk" and "Wait, Wait - Don't Tell Me!"
    • Gold Top Dog
Tracy, your secret is safe with me [:D].  And if I can't find ABBA, I put on.......wait for it......Boney M.  I'm so sad.  LOL.

Thought of another.  A couple of weeks after Shari died, I bought little harnesses and leashes for my cats.  I've been taking them out in the backyard nearly every night.

When I got the stuff, my son asked why.  To take the cats out, of course.  He shook his head, said that I was losing it.  I said, "well, I'm not going to walk them around the block like I did with Shari, and even if I did, I didn't expect you to come along."

Yep, I'm a dork.  And proud of it.[:D]
