    *WARNING: Woman stuff* Bra size

So I just got back from getting myself sized for a bra.  I've been complaining for YEARS how uncomfortable my bra was and always thought that it was due to the fact that I have not found a "good" bra.  Since I'm not very well endowned in that are, I thought I was just not finding a good bra.  Well, BF kept telling me to go get sized and I finally did it.  My goodness, I was wearing the wrong bra size for all these years!  I've been wearing a 34A when I'm actually a 34C!  I LOVE how my new bras fit!!  I can't believe I've been wearing the wrong size for all these years.

OMG I cant even fit into a 34A and Im a 34B! I cant imagine what your poor girls were going through, Im glad you finally got the right size!

After all these years...now I finally know what it feels like to have a proper fitting bra!  Well, statistics say that 80% of women are wearing the wrong size bra.  Makes me feel good to know I'm not alone.  I can't believe I didn't get fitted sooner.

I need to do the same... my DH keeps telling me to go to Victoria's Secret or Dillards or something and have someone tell me what to do! lol.  I need it.  I hate all of my bras, none of them fit right no matter what I do, either too loose or too tight.  When I sit my bra just sort of hangs there and its like, this things not helping me!  Not hanging but you know theyre loose in there, lol, not being held up the way they should.  If I tighten them tho, they go high up on my back and thats not right either.  Thank god they stand up good on their own for their size, lol... Im a large C small D, I think.  Theyre big thats all I know, lmbo.... when I go to those cute little bathing suit shops the XL doesnt even hold them in... those stores are rediculous with their sizing tho.

Im going to go get that done now, thanks for the push lol.[8D]  Glad you got it right, I can imagine how good it feels!

I really want a bra fitting too. Once I went to a VS store to have it done, and wouldn't you know it, the saleswoman helping me was pathologically shy and it was her first day on the job! She didn't have a clue how to do a fitting.

Oprah recently did a show on this, and one thing her bra expert said that I did not know is that if the band rides up in the back, this actually means your bra is too BIG. Mine have always ridden up and I thought that meant they were too small! She said most women wear the band way too high... most women wear too big of a band size and too small of a cup size. I'll refrain from saying what I think my real size is, bc I don't want to cause Billy any heart problems, but I recently combed Target for my size and they didn't have it! [&:]

I must say, I'm a huge advocate of getting fitted now.  It has been the best thing I have done!  My band used to ride up the back and front.  I got so sick of constantly pulling it down.  Now I know it was because the cup was too small!  Duh!

Seriously though, my new bras are WONDERFUL.  I used to hate bra shopping and now I'm trying to tell myself to not buy too many!

I've given up on bras, just about.  I buy what I call a net boob bag from Dream Products, for $7.99.  That gives you an idea of how great a bra I'm wearing.  Because of my MS symptoms, I can't stand the feeling of a band around my middle, it makes me nuts.  Someone told me to get to Victoria's Secret, that they'd have a bra that would be comfortable somewhere.  I'd probably look 20 pound lighter if I get the twins up where they are supposed to be.  I be yours are feeling really much better now.

Yes it depends were you go. While on holidays in a different country thats sizes are different I went to get a bra I could change the straps on. The chick argued with me that I was a C not a D cup. She had no idea. Even after trying the bras on and proving it to her she still argued about the size. She was determined to sell me a bra that I fell out of. So no wonder there are so many women wearing the wrong sizes when you have people like this chick that have no idea.

I just got sized this spring.
I had been wearing a 36C and SWORE it was too big. I thought this because my straps ALWAYS fell down. Well, I have the common "one mammy is bigger than the other mammy" problem that almost ALL women have. I got a razorback bra in a 36c and my one mammy kept pushing up out of the cup. I have small shoulders. I got sized and the lady sized me at a 36D. I bought some bras, and I'm so glad I got sized. My straps don't fall down anymore and my mammies aren't popping out.
    YAY!

I need tot get this done, no bra ever fits me right....

most women wear too big of a band size and too small of a cup size.

This actually makes a lot of sense.  Mine always rides up in the front and back and is the most annoying feeling in the world... and theyre always popping out.  My ritual a ton of times a night is to pull it down and stuff them in.  Now that I think about it.... makes sense.

I hate when its way too tight tho in the band and you have this big piece of flab sticking out and it hurts (well that would be too tight of course but...) ... Oh , I dunno... I need someone to show me what to get.

I *know* that my band is too big, and my cup is too small.

They just don't make small band sizes with big cup sizes. I probably should go get fitted, and see what size I am, for sure. Last time I attempted to measure myself, I was a 32D. I wear 34Cs, though, b/c I have found ONE 32D, in my life. I'm probably not even right, though, LOL.
