• Melissia Goff Posted : 7/31/2006 9:00:05 PM Today was not that bad it only hit 103 here.  Vegas is hot in the summer but the pay off is the winter!  In Chicago we hid inside from late October until late May here we just stay in July and August.  We can play outside all winter!  We BBQ'ed last Christmas!  The trick is to not go outside until after 7:30pm.  I rermember I thought 100 was so hot when we first moved here.  Now 114 feels hot.   Funny story... several years ago we moved her from Chicago.  Madi loved the weather there.  It was July- day 3 of the move.  That morning Madi got in the car in Colorado, her next stop was Nevada.  She steped out of the Car 103+ outside. The sound she made was unforgetable.  HUUUUUUHUHUHUHHUHU.[]  She Ran to the grass.. as if marching high mark time (too hot for the feet) did her thing, ran back to the car and did not get out of the car again until we got to the hotel.  Now she will go out as long as it is below 102.  Funny kid. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. It's only 73 here and it's 9AM!!   We had nasty thunder storms last nite and again this morning, but the air is cool again and the worst temps forcast for the next week are mid 80's.  That's hotter than I like it, but attic fan weather and not central ac......
