    Toy Collections!

Here's Maddi's nearly complete collection of toys... I think I got most of them... although I am positive 3-4 tennis balls are missing [:D]. Two are currently in need of repair (can you find them ?).

Anyway, I thought it might be neat to share our dog's collections [:D], so how many toys does your dog have?

Where did you find those tortoise toys?  Can you tell me more about them? Do they squeak? Are they durable?

We just love reptiles (almost as much as we love dogs) and have some of our own.  I think it would be hilarious to give Tyson a reptile of his own to play and have fun with!

**Edit: At this point in time, Tyson would never be able to just lay there with all his toys around, without going just wild for them!

Sweet Maddi!  What a nice collection you have and they aren't ALL in shreds - I can hardly imagine what that's like!

Alieliza - I think those tortoises are from Animal Planet dog toys.  We have the Chameleon (Pofi's most favorite toy ever) and the frog. They are latex, but for some reason, Pofi does not want to shred it because it is a great squeaky toy and also is very satisfying to shake in his jaws (it quivers). Mia is learning not to shred it...for a while we had to hide it from her.  For us, somehow, they are durable, but not because they are especially tough.

Yes, the turtles are Animal Planet's and they are amazingly durable for feeling to flimsy. The one that still has its head is brand new, but the one without I've had for about a year. Besides losing it's head, it withstood the terrible destroyer of toys that Maddi once was. I will warn you, though, their squeek can easily turn into a high pitch screech! I got both of mine at the pet store I get all of Maddi's stuff from. I've been looking for another turtle for a while, but the store sells out of them soooo quickly they can be hard to find.

I think they are so durable because they are hard to actually get hold of. The turtle is always slippery and hard for Maddi to chomp down on [:D].

Here are most of Gracie's toys. Took me forever to find the ones stashed around the house.

It's not as bad as it looks, I swear! Gracie is only mostly spoiled, not completely spoiled! [:D] She only gets about 1/3 of these toys normally. the rest are brought out as 'special' toys so she doesn't get bored with them. She LOVES her special toys. The toys in the basket are her everyday toys.

Are we talking inside toys or outside toys?  There are even toys that require supervision...We've got a toybox in the living room that's pretty full, a rubbermaid tote in the garage that is full (there's also a large jolly ball, and at least two soccer balls in there though) and then a small toybox in the closet for anything that I don't want destroyed which are the supervised toys.

And I don't care what anyone thinks of all his toys...a bored dog is a bad dog...NEVER a good thing!

I think it will be interesting when the day comes that we are having trouble figuring which toys belong to Cooper and which toys belong to the kids! LOL!

Are you really sure you want to see all the toys Mick had?  LOL  This picture doesn't include the retrieving dummies that are hanging on the porch.

Try yard sales and the toy department in stores.  I bought Mick a Tickle Me Elmo for $1 at a yard sale.  I have a friend with Bullmastiffs and a Rottweiler who buys a lot of toys in the toy department in WalMart.
