1st sewing projects

• 1st sewing projects smilee1079 Posted : 6/30/2006 9:32:42 PM I finally got a sewing machine (months ago I mentioned getting one on here but decided not to).  I got it yesterday and so far I made Zoe a bandanna (a bit lopsided, but looks ok) and a crate cover.  I think for my first 2 projects, they came out pretty well.  I have only had the machine like a day and a half!   I need ideas for other simple projects.  Please let me know if you have any!  I am going to take a class on pillows with ruffles and skirts I think.  Anyone have a pattern to make a little treat bag that attaches to the leash?     LIKE 12 REPLIES 321 VIEWS LAST POST LOVEUKAYKAY Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. • smilee1079 Posted : 7/1/2006 8:12:12 AM Ha... the crate was somewhat frustrating just because I am not "good" at measuring and pinning yet... like everytime I did one side, I put it back on the crate to make sure it was still working, and then I pinned some while on the crate.  So, for me to make one for others, I would need to have their size crate handy (I knew Zoe's crate's dimensions, but still wanted to check).  Also, mine did come out VERY well, but not perfect.  If I was making for others, I'd want them perfect.  I will keep practicing and am taking some classes that may help with measuring.  If I get good, I will let you all know and start making for you . 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
