Sorry to hear of Sheena's injury.
I have alot of experience with keeping a dog quiet, as Misty had on surgery that required 10 weeks of down time and another that required 4 weeks. She is a small dog, though, so that made it quite a bit easier, I could just carry her around if she got bored.
I would say get every chew thing in the world, especially if they aren't things your Sheena usually gets. Flossies, Pig Hooves, etc., all can keep a dog busy for a long time. Misty didn't really like Kongs, so that was a waste of my money. Some dogs like them. Shredding kleenex was a great past time, too. I'd sit and hand them to her one at a time and she'd shred each one down to nothing. One box could keep her quiet for hours. (Can you see how desperate I got). And, I'm lucky because she likes to watch TV and I watched the schedule for any shows on the Animal Planet or Discovery that had lots of animals, especially dogs, moving and barking. I would imagine that Sheena is allowed short leash walks? Take lots of them. I think it was the 10 short leash walks a day that saved us, otherwise Misty wouldn't have been able to fall asleep at bed time and the torture would have lasted 24 hours a day instead of 16.
Hope she heals quickly.
