Gracie's Fun Saturday

    Gracie's Fun Saturday

We went to the dog park. Oh No! No one is here to play with! [:(] Gracie got in a lot of good quality sniffing time.

A few dogs showed up, just as we were about to leave. A 6mo old long hair GSD from Germany named Tango and a cool 2yr old white boxer with odd eyes named Angel. They wanted to play in the water and run around a lot. Yay! Gracie was so very happy!

When Gracie got a little tired we wanted to see if she would use some of the agility equipment. That's my BF with Angel, a little kid (Angel's family, her mom is in the background). Gracie is in the foreground. I am really very proud of her because Gracie is very afraid of little kids. She will sometimes growl at them and try to run away. Especially little boys because they are so boisterous. At one point one of the two little boys fell down and was crying. He must have been like 2 yrs old. Gracie walked over to him and licked his face and let him clutch on to her neck. It was so wonderful seeing her do this. GOOD GIRL GRACIE!! All that socialization and patience is finally paying off.

Then we took her to PetSmart, which was packed with people so she freaked out a little. But, I finally got her a Hide-A-Squirrel! Here she is on the car ride home, sitting like a lady.[8|] Look at her belly omg! Fatty! jk [;)]

Here she is playing with her Hide-A-Squirrel. She loves it! Thanks to all you i-doggers who suggested getting one!

She fell asleep, exhausted right after she pulled the squirrels out. What a fun, busy Saturday for her.

What a wonderful day Gracie had - and she's so darn cute with her hide a squirrel.  Pofi insisted I pull ours off the armoire this morning and Mia had one of those squirrels SHREDDED in minutes. Fraid mine just don't get the beauty of this toy...

What a day you had Miss Gracie!  Sounds like you had an awesome day.  I'm so proud of you for being so helpful to the hurt little boy.  I hope you got extra treats for being so good.

Gracie did get tons of treats and lovings! I'm still really proud of her, just thinking about that big kiss she gave the little boy makes me beam with pride.
