This was also recent but I can only imagine what he was thinking about. Perhaps, how nice it will be when the temp dips below freezing again, like December.

Or maybe he's thinkin how much smarter dogs are than people -- HE's layin there chillin while you're up takin pictures (and working to pay for the camera, HIS food, etc.) -- he's also smart enough to make sure that strip of grass IS under his belly -- no dirt for him while it's THAT warm! LOL

I think you're right. You may have assessed his thoughts more completely than I could. I just know that heaven for him is 30 something degrees, driving rain, and a 30 mph north wind, and we walk in it.

I have to agree with Yanke - it's funny how dogs get a certain look on their face when you can tell they're just about to go "flop" on one side, let out a huge doggy sigh, and take a nap!
