    Need a spotted hound fix?

I made a Roscoe photo album (I got PS Elements, and it has this thing that lets you make albums to show on-line!)

That awesome Roscoes Mom. What a gorgous boy you have there.

Oh, how cool!  This place is neat, though it will be hard to make it look like I'm working in this new format with all the smiley faces and whatnot!

But I'm so glad that we get to put signiatures and all that kind of stuff!

Jen, I looked through your photos....that is the saddest looking dog!!!!  I love the ones of him on the picnic table and the one of him sitting between someone's legs!!!!  I was dying!!!!   He is sooo handsome....what exactly is he?
    • Gold Top Dog
Yes, Roscoe is a very sad dog. He needs to come and live with me and Rupert. [sm=biggrin.gif]

Excellent album, Jen. I LOVE that one with the big ole tongue lickin' his chops! And the one where he's dancing with that Scottish Deerhound (I think that's what it is.) [sm=lol.gif]  Roscoe Blue, I love you.

that is the saddest looking dog!!!!

Isn't he? lol! When we first got him, we were ready to find him a new home after a week with us because we were convinced that he hated living with us.  Luckily some other dog people told us to give it more than a week, and eventually we realized that he just looks like that. [8|]

edited to add: Yes, Janice, that is a Scottish Deerhound! That's Rory, who used to be Roscoe's bestest buddy, but then Rory got very sick and was in and out of the hospital for a few months. Now Roscoe growls at Rory. It's very sad, and I don't know why he does it.

Thanks for putting the album up.  Roscoe is such a neat dog and the photography is fantastic!  We're really enjoying him over here.

Great photo album Jen.  Looked long and hard for my favorite and I think it has to be the ones of him in the flowers.  Your so talented!!!!

When DON'T I need a Spotted Hound fix!?  Heh!  Awww, Jen... I loooove Roscoe!  Great shots... I've always been and continue to be a loyal fan of the Hound, and in particular the fireplace shot (does it get anymore accurate than a hound napping by the fireplace? [;)])  And the one of you two running at the beach. Gorgeous!

I just LOVE Roscoe. I've had two bloodhounds, I love hounds!! Maybe I should rethink rescuing an Elkhound someday (when I have my own place) and instead rescue another hound....

Nothing can lie in a furry puddle like a hound dog! But Roscoe certainly shows some pointer, doesn't he? There's even a pic of him pointing!

The "uh oh I beena baaaaad boy with the foam rubber" pics were priceless!

    Thanks, everyone!

He was a stray, Terri (Terri, right??), so we don't know for sure.  But the best guesses are that he has bluetick coonhound and something else. Possibly GSP, possibly English Setter, maybe both.

He's definitely very houndish, as I understand it.  He is super-pack oriented and wants to be with us 24/7. He's a food-obsessed, comfort-oriented, people-lovin', snugglebug with a major bird drive. He has high outside energy and low indoor energy, so he really is the perfect dog for a weekend warrior type (get out and go-go-go on weekends, lay around like lumps during the week). [:)

    Isn't an elkhound a hound? [:D]
