• It has EYES!! dogslyfe Posted : 6/5/2006 7:32:38 AM For anyone that missed it, this is my new foster dog, Mitzi. Day one of her stay: Scruffy little thing. I took her to my groomer this past Saturday to have her eyes done. We have an official appt for next Saturday, but this made her feel MUCH better! She has EYES!! She seems to be settling some. She's eating better, and spending more and more time out from under the table. She even sat on the couch with DH last night. So far no ball drive that I can see, but its still very soon! This morning she found Bree's secret stash under the bed. While I took a shower she hung out under the bed, and when I came out and walked down the hall I heard the herd coming, and there was Mitzi running right along with them. *sighs* Makes my heart sing. They are still in the "she doesn't exist" mode. She's pretty unassuming, and laid back, and they don't particularly find her to be a threat. This is a good thing, though. Zippy sniffs down his nose at her in disdain though, which cracks me up.
