They will not be adopting Jake not because of anything negative. They are a great family! Jake is just so fearful still and just don't think he would do well with the kids an so much activity in an out of their home. I personally want to believe that he would adjust but realistically even if he did it would be a long process. I just don't know what to do about his fear issues. I am really starting to think that we are not the best place for Jake to get over these issues. We just don't socialize enough to have him exsposed to different people and I fear that if we continue to foster him he will not come out of this. LOL![8D] Seriously though, I hope you keep working with him. How is he with the puppies? Sounds silly, but it seems to me that Boss has gained more confidence since I got Gracie and he listens so much better.
