Those dogs really are very gentle and a lot of people who have such large dogs either send them to training before the baby comes or do it exstensively themselves. That really made my day, I'd like to throw those pics at all the people for BSL, ha ha! Funny thing is, a lil yappy yap would bite that baby before that big ole love bug would! • tacran Posted : 5/17/2006 2:44:04 PM Precious photos - the last one literally made my heart melt.  Our boy, who went to the bridge in January, was a Bullmastiff (the one in the photo looks like a Neopolitan Mastiff).  He was a gentle sweetheart, but he was his MOST gentle around babies or tiny dogs.  Something about his noble nature just made him stand or lie still right beside them, not jump or move too quickly.  Of course, no dog should be left unsupervised around any child, even a sweet dog of that size could accidentally injure a baby.  But those photos show a truly tender moment!  Absolutely precious - I can't stop looking at that last pic!  Thanks for sharing! 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
