• hello! mondayblues Posted : 5/7/2006 2:29:12 AM   this is mika (my first dog) who just came home from the shelter yesterday. she's four or five years old, and she's an askal, the mixed-breed street dog native to the Philippines. still a little homesick, but she's quickly warming up. no accidents and barking (yet)! very calm, obedient and affectionate, although a little timid. doesn't she have the best ears?
