Remeber my big ole pregnant Susie?

She is recovering well again, good girl! She has blown her coat so bad this time...almost down to the skin. Oatmeal bath coming up! I'm happy with how she's drawing back up tho.

She goes in to get spayed and her teeth cleaned on Monday...a few days of recovery and then the family that's been waiting for her for a couple months now...is going to take her home!

Oh Gina,
She looks GREAT!!!! Do you fast her the first day of weaning and do the reduced food to regular feeding? Thats what I do and I have not had a bitch not come up tight!

I remove her from pups COMPLETELY for 2 weeks. That's important because if she sees them she want to feed them and leak milk,...she's a dairy cow!

I was fasting then doing 1/3, 1/2 type deal BUT then I discovered sage!

Sage dries up milk in human or dog like no one's business. I made her a strong tea from the crushed dried leaves, and wet her dry food with it and it took maybe 3-4 DAYS for her to be completely dry. Amazing!

I feel SO happy for her. Whew, makes me hurt just looking at the before shot!
