The babies...

We have a 2 and 1/2 year old shih tzu named Skrappy Doodle. He's purebred but he's imperfect. He has a 1/2 inch overbite, had a herniated belly button, he doesn't have the curly shih tzu undercoat that most have. His hair is pin straight. He's the runt. He's about 11lbs. He's my angel.

We also have a mixed breed name Justus League. We believe he's boxer and hound... perhaps bloodhound or something. Definitly boxer though. He's about 75lbs. We got him from the humane society so we think he's about a year and 1/2 old. He had parvo when we got him but we did everything we could and he pulled through. He's our miracle baby.

Welcome to the board. You have some real cuties with you. I love the big dog and little dogs together and they look like they are really close buddies.

oor Justice League to have such a hard start on life, but glad to see him well and happy with a loving family you made for him. What a fighter he is.

Thanks. He was definitly a fighter. There were points when we'd go to the humane society where he was being treated and sit outside his cage and he wouldnt even look at anyone. He'd turn and face the back of the cage and he was just miserable. We also got scared when there were dogs being treated in the same room that didn't make it. But we were there by his side every day and watched him as he slowly began to drink water and eventually wet food. Then we brought him home and after a few days had him eating dry food. We caught it early so I'm sure that helped his chances. My husband used to work at an SPCA in Philly, PA so he had seen a LOT of parvo before and knew the very early signs of it. Thats why we named him Justus League... because he's a super hero

Yeah Justus had fun that day. I sat with him to make sure he didn't eat any of it but he loves to destroy stuff so to keep him from destroying things he shouldnt we give him stuff like tissue and boxes and let him go wild for a while. They are good buddies. Justus looks up to Skrappy because he's his big brother but Skrappy looks up to Justus because Justus is so much bigger. It's cute. They follow eachother around until they can't stand eachother anymore then fight for a bit then pass out on the floor.

hahahaha just above it. We've never taken him swimming in water deep enough to swim in so we don't even know if he can swim he just swims whereever you hold him where he knows water comes from. Like above the dishwasher or a sink or the empty bathtub. He knows where it comes from and so it's just his weird reaction. It's really funny to watch. We tried filling the tub all the way once to see if he could swim but its not deep enough and he could walk around in the water with his head sticking out so he didnt have to swim. We live at the beach and he wont go in the ocean. He runs away from it. He's a goof.

Those couches are falling apart we really need new ones.

They were actually waiting for someone to come home. My husband was on a business trip that weekend and they sat there for 3 days. They took shifts....

see.... all day

I let them watch a few hours at a time and then would close the blinds because theyd bark at every person to walk by our apartment.
