• He is The Boss Posted : 4/6/2006 6:26:40 PM I thought I had read something about the black and tan coloration not being encouraged in an old AKC breed book I bought on eBay just for kicks and grins.. I personally think that is one gorgeous pup! I also think all white ones are stunning.   I think that's one thing I love about them is because there are so many color variations in the breed.   As far as ear cropping, I've seen it look good both way. • rutylr Posted : 4/6/2006 6:46:39 PM Her parents were both blacks,but black and tan has been around for a long time.Before Am Staffs were Am.Staff's,Colby had three Black and tan pit bulls. She is a UKC  American Pit Bull Terrier with AKC lines in her like Rowdytown,Ruffian,X-pert,Woods, She also has some ADBA dogs. She is different to train to,never trained a Terrier before.I will be posting pictures as they are all growing up,We have 8 Rottweilers and 2 pit bulls showing in Conf,Obed,Rally and some training in Agility and tracking.It's very busy here. I've missed seeing you and your dogs!   I also didn't know or maybe I missed you are a UKC judge from your previous postings.   I know your pupper is UKC, "PR" is the tell tale sign of that which is why I said it will be a battle but not impossible. • rutylr Posted : 4/7/2006 6:03:28 AM Yes it's me.I kind of got lost for a bit,but I found this place again the other day. I am a UKC Judge have been for a while.I like it,but don't do it too often as I still like showing dogs my self. Yes UKC and AKC are so different.I was supose to get an AM Staff a few years ago from a Friend Sandy Stephenson (Bearfoot Kennels),I picked the stud for her breeding ,(Herbi to Bumper)Which she repeated and has 7 AKC CH so far with some more major pointed.But the people I rented a house with would not allow a PIT BULL in the house.So when I was offered this little girl I jumped on it.
