I thought I had read something about the black and tan coloration not being encouraged in an old AKC breed book I bought on eBay just for kicks and grins.. I personally think that is one gorgeous pup! I also think all white ones are stunning.

I think that's one thing I love about them is because there are so many color variations in the breed.

As far as ear cropping, I've seen it look good both way. I love Boss' floppy ears, but I wouldn't not get one because their ears were cropped.

Her parents were both blacks, but black and tan has been around for a long time. Before Am Staffs were Am.Staff's,Colby had three Black and tan pit bulls.
She is a UKC  American Pit Bull Terrier with AKC lines in her like Rowdytown,Ruffian,X-pert,Woods,
She also has some ADBA dogs.
I am still working on her pedigree and can trace her back to the 1800 when they first came here.

We had a ablack and tan Pittie at the shelter last fall that was a real looker.

Bobber is a cutie!  I am glad to see another bull breed owner on the list!

It is my favorite color too(as all my Rotts are black and Tan).
She is different to train to,never trained a Terrier before.I will be posting pictures as they are all growing up,We have 8 Rottweilers and 2 pit bulls showing in Conf,Obed,Rally and some training in Agility and tracking. It's very busy here.
This is Bobbers cousin Red she will be in her first UKC show this weekend as she just turned six months. She has taken a Best Puppy in the non regular classes.

    Donna,
I didn't realize that was you with the new format!! I've missed seeing you and your dogs!

I also didn't know or maybe I missed you are a UKC judge from your previous postings.

I know your pupper is UKC, "PR" is the tell tale sign of that which is why I said it will be a battle but not impossible. As we both know, UKC is MUCH different then AKC and what will be accepted.

    Any new art work?

Yes it's me.I kind of got lost for a bit,but I found this place again the other day.
I am a UKC Judge have been for a while.I like it,but don't do it too often as I still like showing dogs my self.
Yes UKC and AKC are so different.I was supose to get an AM Staff a few years ago from a Friend Sandy Stephenson (Bearfoot Kennels),I picked the stud for her breeding ,(Herbi to Bumper)Which she repeated and has 7 AKC CH so far with some more major pointed. But the people I rented a house with would not allow a PIT BULL in the house. So when I was offered this little girl I jumped on it.
I have been drawing up a storm and just finished an Am Staff.
