    My parents' cats... Please look.

I know that this is a dog board but I have to share the recent pictures of Bawns, Bella and Oberon my father sent to me. Back in May, while we were moving from Denver to here in San Angelo, my father had to give our long-time family friend permission to put their last cat, Moochie, to sleep. He had been sick for long time. My parents returned to their home to a house without any furfriend to greet them. They hadn't had to experience that in 22 years. My father is the true cat lover. Having these 3 young cats has given him great joy.  My mother's motto is "I have all the cats I ever wanted plus 3." She says that but she has a soft spot for Bawns. Anyway, without further ado, here is the link to the pix:

Bawns is the grey tabby, Bella is the calico and Obi is the solid grey.

Awwww - they are all really pretty and they look like they are highly entertaining.  Your folks have my sympathy - we lost a much loved feline while away from home and it was the worst imaginable homecoming.

I'm glad your father has these sweet felines to amuse him (and glad your mother is so good natured about it)- for me cats make a house a home as much as dogs do!

    Thanks for sharing!

Thank you. My father is a huge cat lover. My mother knew that when she married him. DH and i felt horrible for them. DH was shocked that it had been that many years since they were cat-less. My father tells me a new cat story every day.
