For some reason bread just seems utterly irresistable to my dogs. One time I accidentally left a loaf cooling on the counter overnight. I heard Conrad get up and leave the room in the middle of the night, but he sometimes goes to get a drink of water or sleep on the couch, so I didn't think much of it. Until the next morning when I woke up and looked over to see Conrad sleeping soundly on his bed, curled up with an uneaten loaf of bread with 4 teeth marks in it. He couldn't figure out how to eat it (crusty bread, a big round loaf) so he just gave up and snuggled with it instead. And yes, for those who are wondering, we ate it anyway.
