• Scout & his buddy Diesel! ewin0210 Posted : 9/17/2006 8:45:10 PM Scout's buddy Diesel slept over last night.  His owners got married and we picked him up after we went to the wedding.  Beautiful wedding, btw, on block island.  What a gorgeous place...but I digress. Anyhow, Diesel is Scout bestest bud in the whole world. The mere mention of his name and Scout's ears perk up, his tail starts wagging and he starts to whine! Anytime they are together there is much wrestling and destruction of toys. Here are some pics of them(caution, Diesel will melt your heart....) : The boys! The much loved frisbee. Please note the incredibly slimey drool coating it.  I deserve a medal for even touching that thing let alone throwing it.  Hey Baby!!! (heehee) Tired Diesel! • ewin0210 Posted : 9/17/2006 9:04:56 PM Yeah, he's a mixed breed rescue. They think he lab, boxer, rottie mix. He weighs about 100 pounds and he's pure muscle and very aptly named. Our friends did a great job training him too. He hardly every pulls on the leash! • tacran Posted : 9/18/2006 3:26:06 PM No wonder your photos win contests!  I know it helps to have two absolutely gorgeous subjects, but those are great photos!  The shiny coats -- I wish I was there to hug both of them!   As an aside - my sister got married on Block Island.  She met her husband there when they both worked there in the summers years ago.  In fact, their dream is to live there half the year doing something with their music, art and cooking.  They live in Boston.  Anyway -- it's a great place.  I haven't been in several years. Looks like they had a wonderful time!   My boy Loki is like that with his best friend Jack, the boxer. Ever since they were puppies, if you mention Jack's name, Loki jumps up and whines at the front door. They will wrestle with each other until their beyond exhausted. Now that we have Odin, Jack takes turns playing with both of them. So he gets extra tired--which his mom loves!!
