When I get home I'll try to post some pictures of all my Elkhounds (just two of my own, but I've had 7 over my lifetime).   And I don't think he looks chunky! And they are such love dogs too. A lot of people are scared at first because they "look like wolves". But I always tell them the only reason they have to be careful is because they will be licked to death--or more than likely Loki will throw a toy at you as soon as you come in the house so you'll play with him.
