I was told by the rescue that they got Jake and his brother from the Humane Society and that they were told that and older man brought them both there and claimed that he had found them both one am in his front yard and had been keeping them in hopes of the owners would come looking for them. After 6wks he said he could no longer keep them and he turned them into  the shelter. Who were about to put them to sleep when the foster mom who currently has them now came to the shelter and adopted them both for the rescue. Than she supposedly called the person who runs the shelter and said she for whatever reason could not keep them past today 03/17 and if a new foster home wasn't found they would be going back to the shelter(I was like good grief). So we agreed to take Jake in and if for some reason Heath his brother does not get a home very soon we may get him for atleast a couple weeks until something can be done. Don't think I can do 2 pups at one time but told the director I would atleast try instead of letting him be PTS. So lets just pray that Heath finds somewhere safe to stay soon.
