She's Leaving & Taking My Heart With Her

Welp, Miss Molly has a new foster home to go to.  She's leaving tonight.  Man, this stinks.  She's so very sweet & silly.  In the 10 days that I've had her she's come a long way.  I have yet to see any of the "problems" her former owner talked about.  All she wants to do is please & know that she's a good girl.
Good luck in your journey Miss Nanners.  I'll miss you.

Feeling right @ home with her butt on DH's pillow.  Don't tell him. hehehehe

    She's such a girly girl

Oh not to be outdone, Groedrick von Long Swamp enjoying a bath.  The dog behind him is his arch Nemesis

Aww..the sadness of fostering. You saved this girl though & maybe you can continue to foster. She sure is pretty! I really like the one of her dressed up, that is so cute. I am sure they will keep you updated. I can see how it would be hard to let her go.

Grady is always hamming it up for the camera*l*. And where are  the pics of Aspen & Bubba?!

~sigh~  She's gone.  Even though I'm sad & there's an empty spot in my heart, I feel good.  I hope I gave her some confidence to face her new journey.  The woman who came to get her was surprised @ how confident she'd become in the short time I had her.  Now if I could only do with Grady what I did with Molly...... ~L~

Anne, Grady is a ham bone & loves his creature comforts like a cool tub on a beastly hot day.  I haven't have a chance to get any pictures of the Bubbaman lately.  He's been kinda traumatized by the pack 'o doggies in the house.  Hopefully things will settle down some & I can get him to come out of hiding.  How's his evil twin doing?

    Fostering must be so bittersweet.
I give all of you foster parents a lot of credit.... though I ache to foster one day, I know it would be quite a challenge for me.... Im quite the emotional/sentimental person, and I don't know how I would possibly be able to stand it.

    I admire you all.

All I can say is to guard your heart & think of the dog's needs over yours.  I'm like you.  I'm a mush & get attached easily.  The anticipation of her being gone was worse than her actually going.  I had to remind myself that this was the original plan & I trust the group I hooked up with to do what's best for her.  I also told them that if for some bizarre reason she isn't adopted, I'll take her back.  No hesitation.

Oh, Annie, she just flourished with you!  You done good - you've done good by all your charges, temporary and permanent!!

She certainly is quite the glamor girl!!  I know you'll miss her, but what a gift you've given her and some lucky family!

See what I get for not being around much lately, I didn't even know you had such a beautiful foster in your care. I applaud you for letting her go when you had to.. I don't know that I could.

Oh, Annie that's so sad, I'm glad you had a chance to help her out, she will be fine.

Oh, that's so bittersweet. She's a pretty girl, and I'm sure you did a great job fostering her!

Annie, even tho you are sad to have seen her go. Look at the bright side of this. You developed a confident loving dog that is going to always remember you as her hero, that is going to make her new family proud. You should be proud also!

I loved all the pictures. Swamp doggy.... LOL Love it!

Hugs....Annie[:D] You are awesome for opening up your heart and home for that baby girl! It's always extremely hard letting them go when you have them even for short stays but atleast you can say that you were able to give them a chance and ensure their safety. I cried like a baby when Smudge and Scooter went to the Rescue in MA but to know that they are both now in safe loving forever homes does my heart good.

I am a firm believer that our actions are returned to us three fold! And what you did was such a beautiful selfless act. Know, that you touched Miss Molly deeply by opening your heart and home. Takes a special person to open themselves up and then go on to find a more loving environment then there previous home.
