Happy Saturday chat

Good morning all!  Hope everyone had a fabulous 4th of July.  Ours was soggy in that in rained most of the day, but it sure beat the sweltering heat of last year!  The rain finally let up around 4PM.  However, those to the East of us certainly had it worse.  DH had to do the parade....it's a very large parade and draws incredible crowds regardless of the weather.  This year there were 179 units, but "only" 60,000 people to watch.  It normally tops 100,000.  Since I really couldn't help, certainly couldn't carry a banner, I stayed home, and dry, watched the parade on TV and finally hung pictures.

I literally have hundreds of pics framed in "mass" frames or in collages, some going back to my grandparents parents, so its so nice to have them on the walls again.  The house we were in for 6 months we weren't allowed to put anything on the walls and in the house of horrors, I didn't want to hang anything because I knew we wouldn't stay there.  Not with the bug issue.  So now, it's like having old friends in the house again.

Today is a absolutely beautiful.  Right now it's only 65, sunny, sunny, sunny, and a bit on the breezy side.  Love it!  This is my kind of weather.  I'm planning to spend a lot of time out on the deck, just enjoying.  Would be nice to get a bit of sun on my legs since they look like raw chicken flesh......

Off to enjoy the day.  Hope everyone has a great one.
