    TGIF chat

It's been too long a week to have the energy for a happy dance, but.....Cool and a big sigh of relief!

Raining and dreary here today and I believe it's supposed to last until at least Sunday.  Speaking of.....we are going to our fav place to eat on Sunday for the Mother's Day buffett.  I'm not typically big on going out for holidays, but, yep, this time I'll really enjoy it.  With the move and all, I can use a relaxing meal that someone else cooks!

I hope all of you have a joyous Mother's Day.

Hopefully I'll find a minute or two to get back later.

Haven't had much time to post but was inspired to post when I saw I was still logged in. Have not gotten a computer yet so still using kindle or phone for the Internet. Trust Glenda that you are settling in to your new place. Had an agility trial last weekend. We were complimented on one of our runs and told it was a memorable run and they hoped someone had video taped it. Well no one had as my hubby who usually video tapes all of our runs was not there. Black flies day before convinced him to stay home. Usually Corey and I don't do "pretty" runs like this one was said to have been. Its usually me screaming as he is headed to an off course. He does slam on the breaks though which usually makes for an entertaining run. :)  It was a very muddy and buggy trial but always great time seeing all of our agility friends. Got one more qualification towards our nationals. We did already have all that was needed but if we get one more quification in this class that means we can compete in that as well. Nationals are in California this year.

Raining here, some much, much, much needed rain.  Yesterday it drizzled a little in the morning--first moisture from the sky in weeks.  Started that way this morning, but not grey, dreary, but am so glad for the rain.

Don't play to go out to eat on Mother's Day around here.  For years youngest son & wife (now divorced) took me to the big Fisherman on Mother's Day, but apparently the owner died about 3 years and it shut down and I don't know if it has reopened or not.  Surpised if it it hasn't as was always crowded.  We loved it--could get the best chicken gizzards there.

Everyone have a great Mother's Day.

I hope all the Mom's out there have a nice Mother's Day.

Sandra, we used to love to go to the Big Fisherman but the last time we were there, which was quite a few years ago, the food wasn't as good as I remembered it.  Glad to hear you're getting some rain.

Maureen, it never fails when you have a memorable run, no one gets It on video.

We never did get any rain here yesterday.  Some areas near us did.  We're supposed to have another chance today.  I need to go wash my vehicle to help insure it rains.

Tomorrow I'm having lunch with an old friend.  Olive Garden because we both love the salad and bread sticks.  :)

Enjoy your Mother's Day out, Glenda, you definitely deserve it!

Congrats on a great run, even though it wasn't caught on film, how nice that it was noticed and commented on :)

Hannah's school won a skating party so we went to that last night.  Both kid's seemed to have a good time.

DH informed me that I get to pick what I want to do for Mother's day, I just need let him know if that means that he & the kid's need to vacate so I can have some peace and quiet, lol.

    I need a drink.

    That is all.

Rainy here, too.  But the yards and gardens sure do look lush.

Maureen, I'm glad you and Corey had a "pretty run," even if the only memory of it will reside in your mind instead of on video!

In my opinion, the salad and breadsticks are the best part of the Olive Garden's menu.  I'm already hungry, and now I'll be thinking about that . . . might have to dig into my lunch early!

Steph, your comment about wanting your Mother's Day gift to have time alone reminds me of something funny my friend said the other day.  She went to some event recently and won a raffle for a gift certificate for a night at a fancy hotel nearby.  She said that in her excitement to share the news when she got home, she told her husband about it.  She later realized she wished she hadn't told him because she would've liked to have gone there by herself for a quiet night on her own with no kids or husband to pester her, but now he'll expect to join her!  Big Smile

    LOL, Tracy that is funny

Ah, but how about the great soup also at the Olive Garden :)

Glenda glad your move is over and your back on track. I go for another x-ray on Wednesday for my wrist hope I'm on track too, it is taking so long and driving me crazy.  Nothing going on here for Mother's Day, my children all live far away. :(

It is nice to come to the site and be already logged in, gives me an incentive to say something.

Hope all you Mother's have a wonderful Mother's Day.
