Happy Gotcha Day pretty Ruby! I can't believe it's been three years!

Happy gotcha day. What kind of dog is Ruby?

Ruby's a pittie-mix.  We adopted her from our local humane society, and they didn't have much background on her (she'd had at least 2 homes before ours).  

Some of the breeds we've thought might be mixed in her are Weimaraner (based on her coloring, body shape, and some of her stalking, pointing, tracking, and prey behaviors).  Also, she has insane speed when she runs, so we wonder if there's Greyhound in there.  She's super long and lean with a deep chest, not as stocky and smaller as a purebred AmStaff Terrier.  She also tries to herd us in the yard, nipping at our heels when we play, so some kind of herding breed may be in there.  Who knows -- she's a mystery!

She's a gorgeous baby regardless of the mix - and I am always happy to hear that she's running her zoomies and keeping her humans entertained!

Also, she wants to assure Bugsy that the pseudo-octopus toy is not long for this world.  He's got a couple holes in his tentacles already, and the squiggly doo-dad on his head is nearly torn off.  She'll be sure to let Bugs know when funeral services will be held.  In fact, it could be a joint service for all the toy carcasses that are lying around here!!
