    Sunday AM

Brisk day. You can walk on the water-it is crunchy but firm. Hit the local WMA for about an hour. The plowed ground is frozen-a very good thing. On the way in, Guns hit a scent. The fur on his spine all came up. On the way out, he went in to investigate and found the remains of a duck that some predator had chewed up. Guns played with the feathers and wings for a bit, but really wanted to take the remains of the breast bone home with us. Apparently the urge to roll in animal remains starts early. He really had a good time with those feathers. We also found the remains of a deer. Only hair left. Could have been a road kill, weather kill, or coyotes. May start carrying a gun along until guns gets a little bigger. Also found an antler shed. Dog is tired now, and sleeping on the couch. But then, he has been up since 3:30. I think I'll join him. So have I.

Doug he is such a cutie and a lucky one at that - what a fabulous outing for him!

Only a couple of hundred yards from home, Bugsy & I met a woman and her 5 mo old GSP pup. I was in love at first sight (OK unsurprising I know!)

I invited them back to play and the pup and Bugs were like long lost brothers, so much fun and oh my what a pup!!

It's raining now. Again. Snow expected on Tuesday. In NC. In March almost April. Bizarre

That's all. I am watching basketball, supposed to be sorting some papers but strongly considering a nap

Again Doug, thanks.  What a sweetie!

Dry here today and only mid twenties.  Supposedly a major storm moving in mid-week.  Lovely
