    Sat run

    To run is to live.

Had a nice run this morning at the WMA. Geese, flying north, looking to homestead at Swan Lake. Guns enjoyed it, so did I. This is where I let Piper have her first free run in the wild 13 years ago. A pair of geese flew over. Piper, not understanding geese or perspective, chased them for about a quarter mile. They landed and Piper got close enough to see how big they were. Her return was really fast.

When we got home today, I had to wash the mud off, but well worth it.  Truck seats will need a good cleaning today.

Indeed, to run IS to live! He is such a great looking pup, glad you both were able to enjoy it!

Bugsy & had a walk, field run & swim with a buddy this morning. My plan worked, he's out cold :)

Pretty day & I am enjoying doing nothing. We are going out later, it's a long drive but I am looking forward to it

Great photos, Doug.  I can't get over those cute speckled socks on his paws!  Wink. As I said before, Ruby would be in heaven running there.  But I doubt she would be smart enough to keep her distance from the geese!

    Enjoy your outing tonight, Karen.

Today we took Ruby for walks at two different parks.  One has a ton of fearless squirrels, so she was bonkers over them.

We also visited two boarding kennels in nearby towns.  One let us take a tour -- it was pretty nice, but nowhere near as spotless as the one we used before (recently closed due to owner's health).  The other one said they don't take pit bulls, so we didn't bother touring it.  Oh well.  We have another one to check out close to our house.  I don't know if we'll ever find one as good as the one we loved.  Sigh.

Ahhhhhh.  Puppy pics to warm my heart!  Thanks Doug.

Been rather gloomy here today.  We were up around 40 but as I was cleaning out my car, got rain, then sleet, then rain, then a bit of small hail.......goodness!

But, the car is cleaned out, altho it needs washing again.  Washed it last night and then with all the rain and stuff on the roads it got splattered but good.  Will do that tomorrow since we've got several dry days lined up.  The laundry is done, dinner is done with, the kitchen cleaned up.....man, I sure know how to enjoy the weekends.  Not.  Oh, the groceries are gotten and put away and the errands all run.

Now, I'm going to pull out some small pots and repot my herb seedlings, then start a few more.  Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend.

Great _photos Doug. One of these days I might get ambition to take the dogs somewhere for a run. We have a fairly large fenced in area that As often as I can let Corey out to do some zoomies. Its often a bit difficult though with all the snow. Come on spring where are you. Glenda, sounds like your weather was like ours today, although we did have some sun later on.
