Thanks everyone for the b'day wishes.  I guess I'm in between, it's just a number and not being able to say it out loud.  A little wishy washy I know!  I don't look my age which is a major blessing....of course I didn't think so when I was still getting carded at almost 40, but.......thanks Mom for good genes!

It is so very nice not to be cold today.  We've made it all the way to 23!  And, when it gets to be *that* warm, the bright sunshine does make it feel less cold.

I'm going to behave myself tonight, but it will be really interesting to see if the Yankee's GM fields, and actually answers,  any questions pertaining to A-Rod.  With all the law suits the guy has filed, he may not be able to comment, but I'd sure like to hear managements take on performance enhancing drugs.

In honor of being officially past that very big number, I cut myself a bit of slack and came home a little early.  Have a ton of emails to send out, so not totally slacking.  They are simply too darned hard to send from my phone.

We might actually have settled on a name for the little sweety.  Wife keeps calling him Gunther.  She doesn't seem to notice that I have been calling him Auggie.  So , Gunther is his name.

The little tike has grown.  I think I'll hit the vets tomorrow and use their scale and see how much.  But with the way he eats, he has to get bigger.  Boots, gloves, coasters, papers, anything in reach.  He actually sat in front of the door waiting to be let out!!!!  There may be an end in sight.  I haven't wiped up anything today.  Uff da!!!.

Doug sounds like Piper is being a wonderful older sibling and that the two of them are fast becoming great buds. Like your idea about the 4 legged shredder.
Happy Birthday Glenda. Hope you had a good day. Welcome to the 60's. My welcome to the 60's was back in July.
1099's...I've known people who were given a 1099 and never saw it coming. I have no idea what they thought, on a week to week basis, when they got paid and no taxes were withheld. When I worked for H & R Block, one young guy came in with a 1099 for $10,000, I think I'm remembering correctly. What a shocker for him. Cause now he not only had to pay federal and state tax he also had to pay Self Employment tax. He never came back to pick his finished return up.
Callie so sorry about your worries about your parents. Good for his chiropractor, for getting him to go to the doctor. Hopefully now things will begin to look up for them and lesson your worries a bit. Sending thoughts and hugs your way.
