    I'm Back (formerly MrsTJohnson) :)

Hi everyone.  I missed everyone on here so much.  I know a lot of you have heard but wanted to give a quick update regarding what has been going on lately.  I changed my user name as you can tell and below will explain why Wink

    1.  I am divorcing Riley's dad.  Long story and not worth getting into but it's a very good thing.  I am staying at my parent's house right now since I can't afford to support two complete households.  He doesn't work and basically refuses to get a job.  He's trying to go after lifetime alimony, so.... um, yeah.  Anyway Wink, I have Riley 50% of the time (week on week off).  It's hard not being around her 100% and I miss her terribly.  Not only her but Charlie as well.  Been fighting several battles in order to just maintain 50% of my time with her.  Once all of that is done, I will be fighting the battle for Charlie.  Hopefully everything will be done by early-April!

    2. In the midst of all of this, Riley was diagnosed with Type I diabetes in October.  She is doing great.  We have to do insulin shots 4x a day.

    3.  Riley is doing awesome with her arthritis.  She is slowly being weaned off all her meds....just one more small pill to go!!!!

    4.  Parents are doing well and wintering in Palm Springs, CA.  Which leaves me alone at the house...sometimes good, sometimes bad.  LOL

I think that's it for me LOL

I missed everyone here, especially those that aren't on Facebook.  I do post a little bit on Facebook to a closed audience, which most idog friends are included in.

Here is a pic of Riley from her xmas pictures - she will be 7 in May - YIKES!

Lisa, it's great to see you! Riley is beyond adorable!

I'm sorry to hear of your troubles and hope things work out best for everyone involved, most especially Riley & Charlie.

Lisa I am so sorry you are having to fight this battle. Its great to see you tho :) I cant believe Riley is going to be 7...amazing. Hate to hear about the diabetes but having spent time with my niece who was diagnosed Type 1 when she was a baby, she is now 15 and very responsible about her diet. Hope you will continue to pop in from time to time

Welcome back! Sorry about all the stress going on right now. You'll come out on the other end stronger and happier I'm sure. Great to hear about Riley!

Oh Lisa -- I'm  sorry to hear, but there *are* better days coming!   Glad to hear Riley is doing well - that's the biggie.  And I know you miss Charlie too!  *hugs*

Lisa, I'm so glad to see you -- I've missed seeing posts from you and have wondered how you've been, since I'm not a Facebook user.

I'm so sorry to hear that you're going through such a stressful home situation.  I'm glad you have your family nearby to help during the transition.  As others said, I hope everything works out as best as possible for you, Riley, and Charlie.  I'll be thinking good thoughts for all 3 of you.  Drop in here when you can, and take care!

Edited to add:  I cannot believe how grown-up Riley looks.  It seems like you were just posting baby photos!

Lisa, it's good to see you, and I am so sorry you are going through all this. (I'm not a Facebook user either, so I don't keep up with anyone that way.) I can't believe how much Riley has grown! Sending good thoughts you way.
