Ground blizzard. Blue sky, no clouds. Wind 30mph+. Haven't tried the highway yet, but as we look out over about 3 miles of bare plowed fields, we can watch the visibility lessen. And it has. Feel sorry for rural folks using propane for heat. The forecast is for up to $5 a gallon, if they can get it. Apparently a lot got used up drying corn that is used to make alcohol to mix with gasoline. One of the hidden costs of gasohol, along with the pumping dry of aquifers for irrigation.
Leather chews, plastic squeeze toys, nylon and real bones, rag dolls. And the pup prefers to chew my gloves. So far, the furniture and shoes are okay. The little beast jumps like a kangaroo when he tries to clear a gate. He used to have to struggle to pull himself over, but now he grabs the top of the gate on his way down. But he licks your face, and everything is okay with the world.
Keep warm.
