How did it get to be Sunday, Dec. 1st already?! (tacran)

It's nearly 4:30pm, Pacific time, so I'm not sure too many non-west-coast iDoggers will see this tonight!

Everyone must be recovering from all the Thanksgiving festivities, whether it was cooking, eating, cleaning, shopping, or a combination of any of the above!  I did some laundry, ironing, and cleaned the bathrooms today.  We're about to eat an early dinner, and then I'm going to brave a couple stores.  I really need some things at WalMart, but I've been avoiding it for the past few days.  I'm hoping if I go at 7pm, everyone be shopped out and the crowds will be gone.

My friend invited me to join her for an overnight on Friday at their house in central Oregon.  We did some shopping in a cute nearby town called Sisters, and I got a couple Christmas gifts, so that was good.  We had a relaxing evening watching a movie with a warm fire in the woodstove.  We watched "Now You See Me" about the magicians/illusionists/con-artists.  It was entertaining, but basically one of those movies you forget about soon after.  The best part about it was Mark Ruffalo.  I love him.

Anyway, here are a couple photos of the sites we took in:

Great shots!  I especially like the deer...looks like he's standing there waiting for the light to change.

I did nothing today other than make mac and cheese for tomorrow's dinner, and a huge pot of turkey jumbo for tonites.  Great way to get rid of most of the leftovers....through them in a pot and call them soup!  Lol!

Pretty mountain! I think the deer forgot where she parked. LOL
