    Have a great time Deb!

Busy day ....  had a great time last night with the girls night "Re-stock the cupboard" party.  It's always good to have a little girl time, but still nice to know the boys at home missed me even tho it was only a couple of hours.

    Have fun, Deb!!

I'm still all congested. I really hate being sick. I'm still checking things off the kid free/get 'r done list, even though I just want to crawl back into bed with my Ruperoni. *yawn*

    Have fun Deb!!

Hope you feel better soon Jan :(

Just took Shane for a super fast walk. It's sunny but chilly and windy. Unless we were actually in the sun, I was freezing.

Our Cottonwood tree is getting chopped down today. Thankfully the water dept is paying the $4K to have it done and DH will hopefully stay out of their way ;). I took a picture this morning before I left and I know it's going to be a drastic difference when I see that back area tonight. It really was one of the prettiest trees in our backyard but I understand why it has to go.

I didn't sleep well and had crazy dreams all night when I did sleep. *yawn*

I probably missed Deb already, but just in case I didn't:   Bon Voyage!  Have a blast!

Eddie Money IS cool.  I loved his songs back in the 80's.  My sister met him years ago when her friend worked at a radio station and they got backstage passes to his show.  It was more than just a brief hello; he spent a lot of time with them and even asked them to join him at another club nearby after the show to watch Roy Orbison play.  They rode in Eddie's limo and everything.  He was very down-to-earth.

Janice, I hope you feel better.  What a bummer to feel crummy when you've got so many Things-to-Do-While-Kid-Free on your list!

Cathy, I know large trees really add some privacy, shade, and aesthetic to a home's yard, but if I had to lose one, a Cottonwood would be okay.  With my seasonal allergies, the cotton pollen that seems to fall like snow from those trees makes me miserable.  Tree removal is a pretty neat process to watch.

Glad you enjoyed your girls' night, Ginger.  I had one last night, too.  4 ladies I used to work with over a dozen years ago met at a pizza place.  We laughed and chatted so long that they were cleaning up the restaurant around us (in this boring town, things close early; it wasn't quite 9pm).

It's really sunny at the moment, but not terribly warm.  I think I'm going to walk over to the store for some M&M's --- I need the chocolate, and I can't let some decent weather pass by without sampling it!

Tracy - when DH told our neighbor the tree was coming down he said "oh - thank God!!" Apparently the debris that falls clogs up everyone's pool filters. The water district guy said we'd have hated it pretty soon, so I'll try to keep that in mind. It's gusting so bad today that it also reminds of how worrisome that tree was.

I need a girl's night out. Just having lunch with a friend yesterday really perked me up.  I need to make time for more social stuff like that.
