Super Sunny Saturday

Enjoying having all the blinds and windows open on this gorgeous morning. Chilly but sunny. Shane has a ton of energy, so I think I need to get him out for a walk. It's amazing to see the difference in how he's been feeling the last couple days. Still has a bit of diarrhea but hopefully the flagyl will do it's job soon.

DH didn't sleep much last night. I feel so awful for him and there really isn't anything I can say to help. He keeps looking stuff up in his books to see if he got a question right. Most of the time he has but there's an entire area (hydraulics) that he thinks he bombed :(

On top of not getting much sleep because DH was up, someone called at 5 AM. They hung up, so I'm sure it was a wrong number but since I knew DH was leaving for work soon, I got up. I'm definitely going to need a nap today.

We've had a busy Halloween season so far. The Y had a Halloween trail trick-or-treating on Friday night that DH & I brought the girls to. Willa was Luke Skywalker and Sonja was Princess Leia, which was a HUGE hit. Everybody loved it. She really was cute. Of course it was like 30 degrees out so they wore their costumes over their snowpants and jackets. They looked like stay-puft Star Wars characters. lol

This morning the Y had a pumpkin swim. Sonja doesn't really like swimming but Willa is a little fish so I took her. It was fun - they had a ton of pumpkins floating in the pool and each kid got to take one home. And... for the first time, Willa swam the whole length of the pool, 25 yards, by herself. I was right in front of her the whole time. I was so proud!

Downtown businesses had a trick-or-treat this afternoon so we went to that too. I was a bit disappointed at the lack of chocolate given out. Wink

So tired.....the kitchen is all moved and put away, master bath, likewise. Lots of the loose scattered stuff is done, with much more to go tomorrow. Can't keep my eyes open so its not likely I'm gonna see much of the ballgame.....

Janice I lived reading about your pumpkin swim. What a great idea for kids! Cute costumes too.

Sounds like you all enjoyed your saturday. I did as well. It is sar camp weekend so I spent the day running around with dogs. it is cold and I had my snow pants on all day but it was still fun.
