    TGIF, I think

Happy to have a later start today. Went for a walk at a historic park, which was OK minus the spider webs lol Have go checkout now and head to the training facility. Hoping the Friday night traffic isn't too bad

Well, I finally found this page, I hit reply on the post above, hope I'm doing it right, finally.  That seemed the only way I could post. I know I'm old, but ..... lol Hope everyone has a great day and enjoys their weekend.

TGIF for sure   Have a safe trip home Karen.

It's raining yea!  I hate it for all the bikers in town but we soooo needed the rain.  It is supposed to clear out later and the temps have dropped into the 70's.  The rest of the weekend promises to be cooler, sunnier and all the bikers should have some beautiful rides.

Ms Deb in order to celebrate the festivities in NWA what cocktail do you recommend for the Bikes, Blues and Bar B Q  weekend.

ETA: Hi Auburn  good to see you found us!

I'm getting ready to leave to pick up a friend for an early lunch.  We're trying to beat the storms that are predicted.

Sending good vibes to Tina for her dental procedure.

Gin, it's supposed to cool off here too tomorrow but lots of rain predicted when the cool front hits.  We need the rain too but hopefully we don't have any flooding.

    ETA for clarity.

    They worked - I'm alive!

It wasn't too bad, except for the shots in the roof of my mouth. I go back in 10 days for suture removal. They won't know for about 4 months if the implant will take - my body could reject the anchors that were placed today. Not going to worry about it though.

Big problem is trying to drink with a frozen upper lip. I keep drooling down the front of my shirt. Embarrassed

Poor little Doodle isn't feeling so hot.  Well, actually he is a little hot, that's the trouble.  When DH picked him up from daycare yesterday they said he had a bit of a fever.  He's still in good spirits, just a little bit subdued.  He actually was willing to sit for some snuggling yesterday:

Today he is still a little warm, but again in good spirits.  From what I read as long as he keeps eating and stays relatively happy the Dr isn't necessary so I guess we'll wait and see.  But no daycare till he's 24 hrs fever free.  So DH left work a little early and I went in a little late, which worked out nice, we had lunch together and then DH brought him around to visit some of our coworkers and he got to ham it up.

I hope your little Doodle bug is feeling better soon.  That picture is adorable. :)

Tina, glad things went ok.  Shots to the roof of the mouth don't sound fun.  Hope everything "takes".

Raining cats and dogs here.  :)

Vivian, I'm glad you figured out how to post.  It's not that easy to figure out a new format.

So I'm supposed to transport four Labs tomorrow on the first leg of their journey to CA.  I can not believe how messed up this has become.  I hope they get it figured out soon for the pups' sake.  Granted it is a long journey from Texas to CA and lots of people involved along the way and not easy to coordinate.  Just one hang up can really throw everything off.  I'm glad I'm the first leg but the woman doing the second leg is driving me a little crazy.  Keep your fingers crossed that the weather is decent and the dogs don't get carsick.

I hope I get back home in time to go to the shelter event.

Lunch with my friend was great.

Date night will probably be cancelled due to the weather.  :(

    Cute picture!!!

Could Garmin make it anymore difficult to load maps to handheld gps units? I don't think so. I just about threw my new astro out the window when I finally came across a forum where a guy had the same problem I was having. He had posted his question in May of this year and then followed it up by saying "i found a work around" but never said what it was. So, I emailed him from the forum and voila! he answered me right away, then spent the last 1.5 hrs trying to help me out. A total stranger! How nice was that? We did figure it out together but it was totally stupid. I had to take the sd card out of my phone and switch it with the one in the garmin then it worked. For whatever reason the garmin didn't like the sd card that was in it. It works in my phone though, go figure. That is several hours over the course of 2 days of my life I will never get back. But I did find a free topo map website so that was a bonus. Save me from forking out another $30 to gamin.

Work today was nuts, but I cranked it out! everyone moved when they saw me coming and would say "you look intense!" or "Looks like you're getting a lot done!" Not nearly enough but it was a start. Friday's are great for productivity. Well, except for a co-worker's wife brought their new baby in. She is 8 months old or so and omg cute as can be. She loved my office and didn't want to leave because I have so many little toys in it. Slinky's, squeezy balls, slappy bracelets, crazy figurines, etc.She started crying when they had to leave lol.

Jackie - I can't believe that you're helping with that transport. Thank you!!! and I so hope it gets more organized.  I don't know what I could do to help but if you think of anything, let me know. Maybe you should just come all the way and you could stay with me :)

Shane seems better today but still sleepy and if he eats/drinks anything, he starts bleeding again. I spent a good part of the day cleaning up blood stains on the carpets, floor, etc. :(

Storm rolling in tonight but looking forward to some rain and cooling temps.

Ginger posted a beautiful GSD looking for a home in GA.  Oh, I soooo want another female gsd!

For the last few months my allergies have had me sounding like a frog...sort of croaky.  Now I've got a cold on top of that and I sound more like a toad....when the voice works at all.  This is seriously annoying when you are trying to meet new potential advertisers......geeze.

That baby is soooo cute.  I'm getting baby fever I think.

Hope everyone had a good day and has an even better weekend!
