My niece is sick and hacking and coughing today too. She gets a nebulizer. Apparently idiot sister is going to see a lawyer on Wednesday morning, so that's a step in the right direction. Hopefully the lawyer can straighten her out that she totally has the upper hand on this one (BIL isn't yet a citizen, and doesn't get to become one if she dumps him, so she's got this). Ugh... Makes me glad to just have a dog.

Cathy that's super exciting!! Continued good luck!

Bugsy is a moron - but you all knew that LOL I 'rested' him today only to come home to a complete nutcase. His wiring is totally not right

Four more sleeps until the beach!! My friends from NY are driving down with their two labs - I am really excited but at the same time fairly concerned about having to keep B from killing himself..........and me

Hoping those of you who are ill improve or continue to improve

One thing the constant rain had helped was my allergies - now since its stopped my eyes are so puffy, sore throat and my chest is tight. Nothing tragic but a quick change from last week

You've met the owner it sounds like?  Maybe if maximum money isn't 100% of his motivation, maybe he'll favor you guys over the other people if he's feeling sentimental about the home and took a liking to you and DH.  Hey, did you introduce him to Shane?
Yes, he was there and super nice and helpful. I told him several times how much I loved the house and what he'd done. DH did the same and I think he appreciated it. We had taken Shane, so we took turns going in to look around and the other stayed out front with him. Shane loved the front yard :) but the guy never got to meet him.

Okay let's see if I can get through all this. Deb you're right. Sometimes there is nothing like a good diner dinner. Some of us were traveling with my parents several years ago and it took a lot of convincing my Dad to stop at a diner. He decided they were pretty good after all. Glenda thanks. Yup improving big time. Nice about your flowers, especially since they gave you that good fuzzy feeling of Mike. Julie understand that creepy crawley feeling disturbing your sleep. Couple years ago I had the real creepy crawlies after finding about a halfdozen deer ticks on me. Guess the good thing was I found them before they bit me. Poor Riley Lisa. 7 A.M. yup too early in my opinion too and they weren't even expected were they? Hope you are not over doing it Callie. Take things slowly. Jen hope you start feeling better now. Hard coughing sucks. My body is fighting me from coughing now cause my muscles are so sore. Glad to hear your sister is taking a step in the right direction. Cathy good luck on the house. I'll have to check it out. Sounds wonderful. I was thinking the same thing as Tracy, that maybe the fellows emotions will decide you'd be the best for the care of his place. Tina thanks and glad to hear that you are starting to feel better with the allergies and coughing. Jackie thanks and wishing you good luck on the bid. Tracy I remember those late night early morn diner times as well. Been many a year back though.

I wish we had real diners around here anymore.  We went to a place a while back that called itself a diner.  Blech.  We do have quite a few diners at our favorite beach towns.  They're called cafes more than diners but the concept is the same.  My dad and I used to go to an all night coffee shop near his house, during the wee hours, and talk and drink coffee and eat pie.

Karen, take me with you to the beach!  I'll be in charge of massaging your sore shoulders at the end of the day. lol   Rots of ruck with keeping the beast under control.  Sorry to hear your allergies are fully engaged.

Maureen, did you get to go home?  Sorry if you already said and I just missed it.  I totally misunderstood one of Karen's posts this weekend which made for a confusing conversation.  If I had half a brain it would leave to find a better home. lol

Cathy, that is so exciting ! We're all heading your way, just so you know :-)

Old fashioned diners are the best!

Jen, I hope you feel better soon.

Bugsy, try not to drive your Mom completely nuts while waiting for the beach trip to arrive! Resting--it's so overrated in his world, isn't it?

Congratulations, and welcome to the world of cognitive dissonance, similar to postpartum depression.

Oh my gosh Cathy. Wow. Congrats. Having mixed emotions is totally understandable. Things will work out. Jackie I'm still in hospital. Could have gone home but wanted to stay another day to give allergy meds another day to work on my system. Too many allergens and drastic weather changes going on, both problematic for the asthma. Doc said no problem so unless things change overnight should be home tomorrow.

Darn I can't open the link to Kathy's house. It doesn't show as an open link in the post and I don't know how to copy and paste with my cell phone.
