    Good luck Lisa!!

Julie makes a good point and I try to remember that when I'm posting. I remember my former boss playing around and he found a post I'd written a million years ago asking about giving yogurt to dogs. Ya just never know.

Jackie - I'm glad your coworker wasn't trying to scare Gabby. We had a guy here a couple weeks ago doing a presentation and he was playing with Shane but trying to spook him and it was working. I called Shane into my office and the guy realized I didn't appreciate it and made amends to Shane :).

My boss wouldn't be able to find me on this board otherwise I wouldn't post it Big Smile.  I'm also keeping my docs appt. too, just making it a half hour session versus an hour.  I've gone back into therapy to help me better deal with anxiety.  She's an awesome therapist.  I'm glad I finally found someone I connect with.  I'm also taking prescription medication now for anxiety/depression and I wish I had done so sooner, but I never wanted to be one to take medication.  But, it's helping tremendously.

I just had to help a coworker by explaining what to do when you run into a bear (almost literally).  Never a dull moment!

Hope the presentation goes well, Lisa.  Did you wear a power suit or color?  Wink

Janice, I hope the field trip is to someplace fun and you can forget about your stressful To Do List for a while!

Sharon, isn't it crazy how things sometimes happen in the most complicated or inconvenient ways?!  I'm glad you figured out a way to work out your schedule for the 4th interview, without your boss knowing, while still keeping your important doctor appointment.  Fingers crossed you get an offer after all this time!  And your colorful outfit sounds very pretty.

Poor Gabby -- Ruby would've come out of her skin if she heard a loud sudden noise like that.  When we first adopted her, she was easily startled by the simplest noises (indoors or out) and will still jump if a loud sound happens right next to her.  Hopefully Gabby shrugs it off entirely.

I often have very vivid dreams but usually can't remember them the next morning, despite waking at night and thinking, "I'll definitely remember THAT one!"  Today I was able to remember one I had -- so bizarre.  Tom Hanks and another celebrity (I forgot that detail) were flying a huge jet, and they had to crash land it in a field near my house, where I was watching.  They landed safely, then all these people started exiting the plane.  They were all from my high school -- not my good friends, just random people I knew but haven't thought of in many years.  And they all looked just like they did 20+ years ago.  The brain does weird things!

Actually wore a power dress. Suits look weird on me since I am so pear shaped.

So, I just fell on my duff in front of a potential client.  Much laughter (good-natured on both sides lol) ensued and I'm just glad my skirt is on the LONG side.  Grace is not my middle name *sigh*  I'm not even wearing heels, just ballet flats with really good rubber, grippy soles!

Lisa, a dress is better than a suit. I bet you looked great.  Glad things went well!

I dated myself by mentioning a "power suit."  I started my career in the 1980's, when the uniform for women in business was a dark, unflattering suit:  Longish skirts (often with accordian pleats), double breasted suit jackets with shoulder pads, and blouses buttoned to the neck, with a silky bow or cameo pin at the collar.  I lost the best years of my youthful appearance wearing ugly stuff like that.  But I thought I looked nice!  Tongue Tied

LOL!! at your dream Tracy. I'm wondering if you'd seen the news of that airplane coming down on the freeway. The plane just seemed to stall out and slowly roll over before it hit the ground. It was really creepy. Your dream sounded a lot more fun than that.

We're going to a birthday bbq for DH's niece on Sunday and I'm trying to figure out what to get her. She's a college student, so I know funds are tight. My SIL suggested a gift card to the grocery store but that didn't sound very exciting. Maybe Sephora would be better?

Really? Isnt it May 2nd????  Its steadily dropping temps from 79 yesterday to low tonight of 32.... also "SNOW" is expected tonight and tomorrow.  Flurries have already been reported in Tulsa and will be headed our way soon.  Obviously this is a record setting weather event, lol, so they say.

     Good job Lisa!

Poor Gabby I understand about the air pillows...not nice...maybe one of these time you could just eat his hamburger Wink

and that's about all I remember.

Get ready for the weather if you are east of us...here it comes!

I know back when I was a student and funds were tight, grocery gift cards or other store gift cards (like for clothing) were very much appreciated!

Edited to add - gas cards too!

You could do a store like Target. That way if she wanted groceries, make up, clothes, shoes, even shampoo and stuff its all there.

It's starting to look like we're going to have our choice of two kinds of weather this spring ... unseasonably hot or gale force winds, neither of which is a favorite. Fire season is up and running and we have some to the northwest of us and a huge one down near Riverside in SoCA. This is a tad early for fires. Sad We kind of expect them by July and August.
