    Thursday already??

     the world has gone yellow/green!!

can't wait for the rain to wash some away - went for a short walk and my sunglasses were coated with green LOL

Not much else to say - hope everyone has a good day!

Tell me about it!  We've had delightfully warm temps (for here) and wind so all that gunk is getting a major boost in flying around.  By late in the day I typically have some puffiness around the eyes in addition to all the other allergy symptoms.  Such fun stuff.

Cooler today and cloudy.  We'll be in the low 40's which isn't anything to really fuss about.  NW MI woke up to 6 inches of snow yesterday and had to close schools!  40 and clouds are far more doable than that!

Off to the salt mines.  Hope everyone has a good day!

We got some heavy rain last night, it made driving home from some late night supervisory visits not so much fun.  But, the rain was needed and more than welcome - particularly where today it looks like the sun might come out after hiding these past few days!

I think Dunkin Donuts Iced Butter Pecan coffee may be my most favorite thing ever at the moment.  And no, I really don't want to know the calorie count lol.

I'm alone in the office all day today and then have tomorrow off. When I set up the time for my second interview tomorrow, I completely forgot that I'm on call and the time I'm meeting him is when my pager may go off.  I am going to have to ask a favor of my coworker and see if she'll take it.  I know she'll want to know why and I can't lie - so I only hope we really are good friends and she'll keep the reason quiet from the boss.  I can't risk losing the job I got now!

I'm totally disgusted with the weather

Also, I would change Thursday already to Thursday didn't come fast enough :)

Hmm I should see if I can get the rug rats into doggy day care today.

Heavy rain would be an understatement. Thank doG my Durolast roof is doing its job!

We had a little rain yesterday and last night but lots of sunshine for today and temps in the 70's.  Big traffic mess on my normal route to work this morning.  An 18 wheeler overturned and it had things pretty clogged up.

Karen, your video of Bugsy and your DH singing is so funny.  I think I'll play it again at work and see how these dogs react.  Last night Belle was seriously considering getting into the computer somehow to find that dog making all that noise. lo

My life is very hectic this week so the days are flying by - I resolve to not answer my phone until late this afternoon!

Jackie that is the first time that B reacted to his own singing. I thought he'd eat my phone when I played it after uploading. Usually he ignores any and all sounds from electronic devices. DH & I laughed so hard as he tried to get the phone. I have no idea why playing with a squeaker is so howl inducing but its very primal LOL

I seriously need to focus but feel sooooo scattered. Must be the green snow

Count your blessings. My world turned white. It rained. Turned to sleet. All froze. Turned to snow-heavy wet April snow. Plow just went by and I have a mound of heavy wet plowed snow chunks at the end of the driveway, and the snow is still coming down. About 6" so far.

Furnace needs either a $200 gas valve or a $600 circuit board-inducer motor kit. Or replacement, at about $3000. I hope it's just the valve. The furnace was new 13 years ago. Top end, highly recommended. Good thing we saved money on gas, cause we seemed to have spent it on parts and labor.

Doug, keep that weather over there for me please? It's super windy here now, we're supposed to get 3-6" of messy, mixed precip.

I'm currently downloading the files to upgrade all my graphics programs. It's almost 5 GB. Indifferent I sure wish I had a better interwebs connection.

No complaints about the weather here but I sure feel awful for some in the northeast - yuck!!

I have to go find the Bugsy video. I wanted to watch it last night but was afraid it'd get Shane amped up.

My best friend called me as soon as I got to work. I thought it might be urgent but she just wanted to pick my brain about applying for a job. It was obvious she didn't want to, so I told her she shouldn't but she still wanted to ruminate about it. Ugh-I am not good at the hand holding thing :(

Note to self - find Bugsy video. We needed the rain; however, this is nuts. Crazy crazy busy at work so just popping by to say hi!!!

I'll have to wait to watch Bugsy's video until later.  All the bosses are in today, so they might get suspicious if they heard barking coming from my office!

Doug, I hope the furnace repair is of the low-cost variety!  I hate to put this in print, but DH and I were just saying that all the appliances in our home are 10-11 years old now . . . we're due for something to give out, whether it be a furnace, water heater, microwave, dishwasher.  Please doG, just not all at once!

Cathy, I can understand your friend's need to ruminate and bounce things off you about a potential job.  I had a very unusual job opportunity come my way a week or so ago -- and to say I've bent the ears of some friends about it would be an understatement.  I pretty much knew it wouldn't be ideal for me, but there were many pros and cons, and I couldn't get my thoughts straight to make a clear decision either way.  I felt I had to keep talking about them.  I'm sure your friend appreciates you being a sounding board, and being honest with what you think she should do.

Off to get some soup for lunch.  My stomach has been growling for over an hour.

There is a turkey buzzard eating a squirrel in my yard. As one would imagine a certain furry Beast is anxious to get out.

Running like a fool, can't wait until tomorrow at 5!

The wind was gone yesterday and the temps went up to about 87 in the valley.  A tad high for this early in the year.  Now today it's windy again.  Not as bad as Monday and Tuesday, but it probably won't go over 70. I wonder if that's going to be a spring pattern ... either higher than normal temps or gale force winds.

I realized this afternoon that it's mid April and I still have the Christmas tablecloth on the table.  In my defense, I did put a lace one over it so you can't really see the big pointsettias all over it. Tongue Tied Maybe I'll make that my project this weekend - to clear all the assorted stuff off the table and put the Christmas one away.

ETA:  Paige, here you don't get called for the Grand Jury unless you've sent back  the form volunteering for it. It amazes me that people are willing to make that kind of commitment even if they have absolutely nothing else to do. Some of those trials go on for a few months.

I'm so glad it's time to leave work.  What a long day this has been and filled with endless emails from people who either can't read or can't comprehend the simplest things.  I sent a quote to a city department and it included pricing for repairing a unit and a separate price for replacing the unit.  I get an email back asking if I'd please send a price for just the repair.  Tongue Tied
