I sent the video I posted here yesterday to the surgeon and he said he looks amazing and can skip the two week check!

That's great news! And how cool that you were able to show them the video -- especially since you would've had to make a long drive just for a re-check. A good example of how technology makes life easier!

thanks everyone - I am very happy. Bugsy does have some more discomfort today but I extended his morning walk AND we've cut the rimadyl dose in half so I need to watch how he does and go as slow as we have to.

We do need to go see the surgeon again at the 8-10 week point but it is a bit difficult asking the local surgeon to do the recheck for the VA surgeon.

Good good good!!! Slow and steady wins the race without injuries, so you heal up Bugsy! You have a whole team rooting for you.

Soooo good you don't have to make that drive and the vet is so pleased w/his progress. Go Bugsy!

Been busy and have not been checking the boards all that much lately and so just seeing this. Good deal Karen, for both you and Bugsy. Both of you keep up the good work.
