    Newbie from Perth, Australia

    Hi everyone,

Was trawling the Net last weekend in my never-ending search for info on IMHA and found this website, looked like a mine of info so thought I'd join up and take advantage of the knowledge base.

I'm based out of Perth, Australia, and have a couple of canine boys, Boags and Milo - Boags is 13yo and was diagnosed diabetic May last year and Milo has just turned 5 and was diagnosed with IMHA when we were on holidays down the beach on the other side of the country in June this year, quite the awful holiday THAT turned out to be...........!! To top it off, when I got home to Perth, my dear old Crunchie who'd been with me for 15yrs was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and I had to send him off to that big doggy park in the sky late July. GULP.

Both guys have had their ups and downs, but are currently doing well and are stable, so look forward to keeping it that way.....

    Have a great day everyone,

    Jane

I Jane and welcome to you and your boys.  Sorry to here about Crunchie you might go check out the Rainbow Bridge section.

You have hit the forum jackpot here.  We have a very knowledgeable and active IMHA section.

There are lots of wonderful folks here that can give you advice and support.  We would also love to see pics of the boys.

Jane *waving hello from here in Florida* --

I am so glad you found the forum *and* the IMHA thread.  I posted for you over there.

Some years are just *sigh* DIFFICULT, aren't they?  You will find many on here that understand.

I'd second Ginger's suggestion to see the Rainbow Bridge section on here.  What a tough tough year you have had  **hugs**!!

It's an incredible bunch of people with a wide range of things they know about.  Interestingly -- a lot of folks on this particular board have been on here a LONG time and have created many friendships that tend to defy time and space!

Really glad to see you posting.

pssst -- we LOVE to see pictures, too!! LOL
