Toooooooooooooosday

Glad to hear Gabby's tail is slightly better and that Bugsy seems to be feeling his best, too.  Hopefully your departure, Karen, won't make him too sad!

Sorry to hear some of you are feeling under the weather.  It's very frustrating when coworkers spread their germs, but I've had jobs (including this one) where I've had major deadlines that no one else could handle and I've had to come in the office.  I do my best to keep my hands clean, door closed, minimal interaction with others, etc.

DH has a horrible cold -- he's sneezing, coughing, and blowing his nose constantly, and I'm going around with Clorox wipes, hitting every doorknob, TV remote, etc.  I do NOT want to get sick.  The big fundraising dinner/auction/costume party for our local humane society is Saturday, and I can't miss it!

Yesterday I had a doctor's appointment, and while sitting in the waiting room, I heard a small dog barking.  One of the staff has a sweet Yorkie who sits under her desk, but I've never heard her bark on previous appointments.  When I went back to the exam rooms, I saw this tiny blonde long-haired Dachshund mix coming towards me!  She was so cute!  The doctor said she was her new puppy, only 5 months old.  When my appointment was over, I got to hold her for a while, and the doctor showed me her Halloween costume, which was a tiny hot dog bun with all the condiments.  So funny!

Two sweet dogs in one office . . . at least I have something nice to look forward to when visiting my gynecologist!  Tongue Tied

My dermatologist brings her dog into the office. He's an American Eskimo dog. She only actually brings him in with a patient if they ask for him, and I always do. He doesn't like when people get warts frozen off.

I wonder where my mom is or if we're doing anything tonight. It's her birthday. I ran out and got her a cake earlier. I didn't get her anything, because I'm terrible (no, because I do not buy for people unless I find something they will really like. I don't buy for the sake of buying).

Alright, this is getting serious here. I'm freezing and wearing socks in the house. I hate socks, so I don't wear them in the house unless I'm desperate. My mom says it's not freezing.

I also keep stalking to see when the points get posted from this weekend. I know Luke got at least 100 this weekend (that's what he needed for the second ribbon) but I don't know exactly what he got.
