Wednesday Chatting

I think Glenda must have sent her high winds this way.  It really blew last night and kept waking me up.  I fully expected to find the yard furniture in someone else's yard. It's still breezy, but not like it was and it's hard to believe it's supposed to reach 90 later on.

I saw the orho surgeon on Monday and he said everything is coming along great, but no bearing weight on my left leg for four more weeks.  Gonna be a long four weeks! I couldn't believe the size of those screws when I saw them on the x-ray.  The next time I have to go through airport security, I'll probably get strip searched by the TSA.

Actually, Joyce, I keep a letter from my doc in my wallet because even if I go into a courthouse I set the thing off.  I have a plate and screws in my neck and that really upsets the armed guards!  You might want to do the same.

 Oh wow, a fellow from my church passed away yesterday, and I just found out it was from West Nile virus!  So sad, because he just lost his wife in January from breast cancer.  I'm thinking his immune system was probably too stressed to cope with the virus...
