Agility Nationals Colorado 2nd video below

Not sure how this video will work. It's my first attempt at youtube. Hubby couldn't get a good view either so it is not zoomed in too much. Anyway, you should be able to get the general idea of how we were doing. We didn't place but I was very happy with our runs and our team mates. After all we were up against the best of the best. Guess you will have to copy and paste for the link.

Thanks Karen. Okay going to try to make this other one a link. Hope it works okay.

This particular game is called Snooker. The first bar I knocked doesn't matter as it is only to start the clock. Then your dog has to go over a bar with a red flag, in order to be able to do another obstacle for points. It is a very confusing game and you really have to play it to get if figured out. If you goof up anywhere in this game you are whistled off the course. That isn't so in the other games. So this game can some times go very quickly, depending on the degree of difficulty and confusion Confused as one after another gets whistled off early on.

Wow -- very cool!  The speed alone is impressive, but I can't imagine being able to remember the course myself, and keep up that pace -- nevermind training a dog to do it all, too!  I'd need CPR or oxygen after I was done running the course with my dog!  Wink

It takes some time to get comfortable with remembering the courses. There are still times though that I just don't seem to be getting it in my head. We get course maps in the morning and I used to have to pencil in the course and really study it. Funny thing now is, that I often do better remembering the course, without looking at a map. Normally we walk the courses just before running them. However, at the Nationals, everyone walks them in the morning and then, depending on your schedule, you might not run the course until late afternoon. It's just like anything though...practice, practice and experience.
