Bugsy is loving the new beds
I missed this - what kind of beds are they?
They are memory foam/orthopedic foam beds from Costco - I bought one for him last year when I saw it $22, it still looks new. So I've been on the lookout for them but I hadn't seen them since, until Saturday. Bought 2 of them - they went up to $24
They are large, have lovely removable covers, the foam is firm, 4-5 inches thick with a gentle egg crate pattern on top. He doesn't - by choice - go on beds or furniture so I keep a bed in our bedroom, the tv room and in the sunroom. These have replaced some old cedar/poly fill beds that had gone lumpy (also Costco $20). The memory foam ones are better and larger than the ones I've seen for $50-80. It pleases me to see him using them because I think it must feel good on his battle scarred body.
Jackie I hate when my desk is like that too - I had to do a huge cleanup last night because it had gotten bad.
OMG if I reminded my sister about HDTV she'd pass out. She got angry with her husband for not buying a new shirt and has texted me a zillion times this morning saying she can't find any good pictures (I guess family shots) Anyway she'll appreciate the vibes
Julie and Jackie we are due for a swift turnaround in temps - I heard something about a high in the 50's on Sunday and into the 40's next week. Sounds good to me!!
There was a horse on the loose in our 'hood yesterday - I didn't see it but heard plenty about it via our listserver and friends. I wasn't sure if it had made it down to our end............my guess is it did. I took B for our 1/2 mile walk and soon after leaving our driveway his nose hit the pavement and stayed there other than to look up and scan the horizon for whatever he was tracking. Having seen him near a horse I have a strong feeling that is what he was tracking. Goofball
