    Monday Monday

Boy today came quickly.  But, then, I did some work both weekend days so I guess that kind of speeds away the weekend.

Right now it's a little overcast, but supposed to be a pretty day.  Coldish though with the high only in the 60's.  I broke down yesterday and took out sweaters.  Sure hate to admit that the really cold weather is coming!  After the miserable summer though........it sure seems nice not to be hot all the time.

    Wishing everyone a great day!

My coffee hasn't kicked in yet

My weekend was super busy too and I could use one more day of it even though fri feels like forever ago.

I worked on abbies leash reactivity yesterday and she did great. We figured out she will react if a dog she doesn't know looks right at her. that seems to freak her out. If they don't look at her, she is fine.

I feel like I am bleeding money lately.

Still sick.  Should probably have stayed home, but I think I can be useful at work, although I can't really talk.  I have a doctor's appt for the chiropractor late this afternoon anyway, so I'd have had to drive the hour out this way regardless, soo.... I'm trying to work.

Tomorrow we visit puppies!!!  Not that we should - these puppies are way too young to even get any sense about them, so I don't think that we're really looking at puppies as much as just visiting w/the breeder.  That's fine - it all for my friend, Mayday's mom, trying to choose a direction w/her dog decision.

     mmmm puppy breath!

I literally got about 3 hours of sleep last night.  Good times.  I'm mainlining coffee today.  I dyed my hair (again lol) and I love it.  It's a light black, but has burgundy undertones in certain lights.

Ok,  back to coffee and work.  Weeeee!

Sorry you're sick, Paige.  I think puppy breath will help. :)

You know you live in a warm climate when the radio dude says it's going to be 90 today and that it's starting to feel like Fall. lol

I survived the home improvement stores.  Yes, two of them.  ack!

I hope all our guys show up for work today.  Last week we were short handed almost every day and now we've really fallen behind and need to get all our contract obligations finished by the end of the mont,h which is this week.

My friend goes back to TN today.  Crying

Busy weekend - very tired - I laid in bed for about 20 minutes this morning trying to come up with an excuse to call in sick. I didn't - that's about all I got

Warmer than most places here too and it's supposed to be in the mid-90s by the end of the week. Yesterday I was actually wishing it were cooler.

I'm getting the carpets cleaned today, so I need to get myself cleaned up and move some stuff around. I hope they do a good job.

I made an appointment on Thursday with the groomer for Jamison to get the works (bath, toes, ears, anal glands, etc.) on Sunday.  Well after seeing Springsteen on Saturday night (he played from 10:15 to 2 am due to a rain delay), it was extremely hard to get my act together enough to get him over there.   But I pull it together and get him there and guess what?  No groomer.  I'm getting ready to call the place now and give them some of my best ranting.

Its a great day in NWA!  Worked like a dog all weekend on kitchen cleanup after a plumbing issue last weekend.  Decided that before I put all the stuff back I may as well prime them.  Got all the bottoms done and now the top cabnets look awful well.....guess that will be another project.  I never seem to run out of projects.

Great news!!!  The Great Grand Baby due to arrive in January is a BOY!  Yea!  My granddaughter wanted a boy so happy for them.  She is still going to her weekend guards but that uniform is getting very tight :)

Cant remember if I told you guys, my daughter is having hip replacement surgery in Nov.  I am torn, so happy that she now knows why she has had so much trouble but she is so young so I hate that she has to do this.  It's like she says, in 2 months her life will be so much better.  If you would get those powerful healing vibes working in her favor :)

Deb, maybe the groomer had an even better time than you at the Springsteen concert. lol  Look out groomer, you better be wearing a cast on both arms. Stick out tongue

Gin, I'm sorry your daughter has to have hip replacement surgery and hoping all goes well and she's pain free after recovery and rehab.  Congrats on the upcoming grandson!

Gin my best thoughts going out to your daughter - I know a few people that have had hip replacement adn I will just encourage her to be as fit and light as she can be as both really help shorten the rehab!

My neighbor has a new foster pup - an adorable little pittie boy. Bugsy is in LOVE, lol. He loves all pups but I have never seen him love one sooo much. Here is a link to a few pics

Glad I am not Deb's groomer, well Jamison's groomer

Jackie safe travels to your friend - I am so glad you had a nice visit

Stunning weather here - my idea of perfect. Was about 50* this morning, clear blue sky, mid 70's today.

No AC, no heat, windows open and I got to put my lightweight comforter on the bed last night

Speedy recovery wishes for your daughter.  Her attitude is spot on :)  In 2 months, things will be all the better for her.  I hope her surgery goes smoothly too!

Not cool about the groomer Deb.  I'd be pretty darn upset myself.

Got an appointment Friday to meet with a mold removal specialist.  Here's to hoping the price is reasonable and won't completely destroy all of our savings.

have you checked to see if you have any coverage under your homeowner's policy?  Around here, the mold remediation companies are thick as thieves and many are thieves who scam and scare people out of thousands of dollars and don't do the work properly.  Hopefully you can get at least two bids.

Ok - so free head to toe grooming on Friday. Yes

Glad they did the right thing.

Sadly, 'tis a no on our homeowner's policy, though I can do a tax deduction on this type of work.  The company that's coming out has actually partnered with the company I work for, so I know they are at least legit and certified!  Plus, I get a discount due to the partnership.  I am looking into other companies but trying to find reviews for "these here parts" is tough and I don't know anyone personally that has used such a service.  I was reading online about people getting scammed so I am *almost* tempted just to go with this company - but I'd prefer to get three quotes if at all possible.

I'm hoping the mold is truly just contained to the bathroom.  I tried all of the DIY options out there and it's come back, so I truly need to go with a specialist.
