Save the Harvest . Com ? I saw them sponsoring a race car last night and my hubby asked me to google it and find out what it was.

I am all for helping farmers and I am not against responsible hunting. But Personally I was not happy with their message.

I was wondering what your thoughts where on the group, Maybe I am missing something .. But the site got my ire up .It seemed like there should have been a lot more info about them on the site ,There was not enough to satisfy me.

Are you talking about Savetheharvest.net?? (not .com?) -- it's a weird little website -- more about small almost-urban gardening than farming. Not much on specifics is she?

No . I don't know what I was thinking this morning. Its protect the Harvest. I just wonder if anyone had heard of it , if it had any credit or knew About them. I didn't wanna instantly dislike the group with out all the info.

I guess what I felt I was missing when I went to their site was just how they where protecting the

Harvest/ farmers. I support our local farms. What is right and wrong as far as practices is a very

Complex issue.

So I didn’t get or agree with their other issue’s on their site.

I was curious if someone had more knowledge of them and what their opinion of the group was. I had never

Heard some of the stuff they where saying about the HSUS, and was curious if any of it was true.

If there is a similar group that focus’s on just the farmers plait, I don’t always agree with all the practices

Farmers do. I think we thought it would be more of a protect both crop and animal farmers when we saw the

Sponsor.

I think that no matter what the cause,there will always be extremists. People who are willing to argue to the death, but not willing to give an inch to the other side, out of spite, or hate, or because they can't hear what the other side is trying to say, or what ever reason. This doesn't make them wrong, just hard to deal with and (for me) it makes thier arguements hard to swallow, no matter what they stand for. Further more it doesn't get anybody anything!

All I have to say about this particular site is that if anybody tries to take my right to care for my own dogs away, they are in for a fight, and I dont need some crazy organization to help me with that.
